Jake Long

At the University of Michigan, he redshirted for a year and then became a starter at offensive tackle for the football team in the third game of his redshirt freshman season. He earned second-team All-Big Ten Conference recognition and Rivals Freshman All-American recognition. In 2006 and 2007, he earned Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year and first-team All-Big Ten recognition. In 2006 he was an Outland and Lombardi watch lists selection and in 2007 he was a finalist for both awards. He was a consensus first-team All American in 2006, and a unanimous first-team All-American in 2007.

After being drafted first overall by Miami, he became an immediate starter and has started every game that the team has played since he has been a member. At the conclusion of his rookie season, he was selected to numerous All-Rookie teams and was a substitute Pro Bowl selection. Long has followed up on a successful rookie season by earning Pro Bowl roster spots in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

At the University of Michigan, he redshirted for a year and then became a starter at offensive tackle for the football team in the third game of his redshirt freshman season.

Then, of course, Jake Long time warped and transformed into Taylor Lewan, which is an interesting theory, if nothing else.

In all seriousness, I am looking forward to some Jake Long type play up front now.

Did somebody make a stinky?? I think somebody made a stinky, because Jim Harbaugh is the number one player EVER here!!! Also, jake long? Lineman? BOORRING. Lineman are the boring part, qb's are the players that actually mean something. Sure you need lineman, but they mean nothing compared to quarterbacks. Sorry!

Everytime I hear that quote I hear it in his voice.  Which is kinda wierd when looking at the cheerleader's face.

But no wierder than this poll.  Wrong pics now twice in the past four days, no pics and crazy rankings.
