You confused me with the title, pound sign before the 1 would have been more clear, I thought you were referring to the weather at first.

Also fuck those cheating Jayhawks, glad they lost!

Near Quimper in the south-west.   Taught traditional music and Irish set dancing, before the grey hair caught up.

Anyway it's a strong Celtic land and you can feel it in the contact with the people.  Much more open and friendly than the typical French.

Still Maize & Blue at heart and catch most of the games on streaming.

Cool!  My grandmother was a Bretonne by birth, and her first language was Gallo, although her family later immigrated to Quebec.

U-M had a study abroad program in St-Malo for a long time and I was really excited to go there, but they cancelled it the year I was going to go.  I did go to France the next year, but they moved the program to Grenoble.

Actually, # = n° in French.

When you speak two languages fluently, sometimes you have to pause and think:  Now which language does that phrase belong to?

The hard disks in the brain sort of melt together  ;o)

My favorite comparison is the phrase "Play it by ear" which translates in French to "Au pif" = "Do it by the nose"  ;o)

The feeling is mutual  ;o)

Like when you boot on a CD in English to partition a new hard disk and you have to constantly stop and think, then go back and find the correct key.  The @ and € are also a bit*h, since you need to use with the Alt Gr key.

Anyway it's great to see so many world travelers on MGoBlog !

There really isn't an "elite" team this year.  It's sorta crazy.

I think Howard is great, but imagine if Beilein came back and, I don't know, Iggy or Poole had stuck around?  This team might be #1 in the country by a healthy margin.

Not complaining, but it shows how year-to-year fluctuations really can shape a season outlook.

I highly doubt he wonders that, after knowing he would be losing those three.. .in fact, thats what pushed him over the edge, the thought he'd have to start over, of sorts.  I would say he doubts picking the Cavs over another opportunity.

OSU may very well be #1 this week after beating Kentucky. That may be by default though as they got handled by Minnesota on the road, and they’ll lose more before this is all said and done.

Not a good year to be #1.
