It's "Make like a tree and take the Michigan job"! You sound like an idiot when you say it wrong!

Do we really want this guy???????? I don't know now.......
December 21st, 2014 at 12:21 AM ^
I was getting worried. I don't want SF winning anything at this point.
December 21st, 2014 at 2:13 AM ^
Don't understand. At this point, who cares? They're eliminated so whatever talk is going to happen can happen. You know there won't be any playoff stuff to wait out. So why not let them have a couple wins to finish the season? It seems like there is no chance of Harbaugh returning to SF next year, whether they end up 9-7 or 7-9. Rooting against him at this point seems over the top to me.
December 21st, 2014 at 3:05 AM ^
Well one might argue that having him look less sexy in the eyes of potential NFL suitors would be a good thing. Not that I personally think that really makes any difference.
December 21st, 2014 at 8:32 AM ^
Ehh I doubt it will. The Jets, Raiders, Bears, Falcons, and maybe even the Giants will be wanting to dump a whole truckload of money on his front lawn next week no matter what happens from here on out.

Agreed...I never want to see him lose. The more he wins the better he looks when he standing on the sidelines in the big house.
Win, win, win...all the way to AA.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:21 AM ^
Tough loss, da(m)n Chargers. All part of the plan. Right?

They had a good week of practice.

The players "competed".
Jim Harbaugh: "I need to do a better job"
December 21st, 2014 at 8:26 AM ^
well you know I thought the players really played hard. um I think they are starting to come together as a team. *smirk* um you know these guys really love each other, I can feel it in the locker room. Our practices are pretty... um... remarkable. These guys are really special.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:33 AM ^
but not fully aware of that
December 21st, 2014 at 12:24 AM ^
Does this up his decision any? After 4 straight losses is coaching that last game really that big of a deal? Come home Jim make it the greatest Christmas ever

From Laundromats and shit, from some tiny ass korean groceries, you think I got time to ask a man why he given me money or where he gets his money from, I'll take any mothafucker's money if he given it away!

Clay Davis has to be the most underrated 'The Wire' character on the show? My super underrated character would be Slim Charles.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:55 AM ^
a smidgen of Fiddler on the Roof and voila, you have a show sure to confuse and horrify a few dozen people.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:25 AM ^
wow ... not sure how this play into his thinking ... on the one hand, he will take more undeserved critism .... on the other hand, maybe it makes his thirst a little stonger. No one wants to go out a loser.
Net / Net .... maybe a positive.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:25 AM ^
about his coaching decisions? Yeah, me neither.
December 21st, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
That flat out sucked. My M loyalties by far outstrip my Niners rooting interest. But there is no redeeming edge to that loss. It just hurts Harbaugh's legacy. Better that he went out a winner.

December 21st, 2014 at 12:52 AM ^
I'd rather have Harbaugh coming here cause he wants to be here than cause his stock fell at the last minute. Kinda feel bad for the guy. At the same time, I doubt this is gonna make him less attractive to NFL teams. Did we really gain anythig by him losing?
BTW, that was a ricidulous game! How does that even happen? (*gasp*)

Doubt money will matter. He's getting paid no matter where he goes.
