You're right that was a wonderful game. Same feeling of total domination of a top ranked opponent, although if I recall believe PSU was ranked either #1 or #2 at the time. We were a couple spots below?

Actually, played college basketball for a coach with multiple titles at multiple levels, who now coaches a national Olympic team (overseas, as a mission). And I coach now. It's always coaches who are not satisfied.

i appreciate your responses and would simply say that when you are up by 40 points you take your foot off the gas. the subs did fine, and it's good they get some playing time. i note we have a grad student center who is actually pretty big and more muscular than davis, his name is faulds. he biffed two easy bunny hook shots, both going off the front of the rim in his time on the court. it happens, they need time in game conditions. one of our new kids sunk a beauty 3, and the ball movement was nice. plus we were in no hurry and burned the last couple of minutes to not embarrass wisconsin. i'd say thats good sportsmanship.

Well, since I take you at your word and accept that you are either in med school or a doctor or in the medical field in some capacity during a pandemic that is EXTENDING its 43-6 run on all of us, I am willing to bet quite a bit that I watch a crap-ton more basketball than you do.

Dude, the game was over. Yeah, there was time on the clock but that run ended the game.
Relax and enjoy the victory. Or don't and complain they didn't win by 50. I'm guessing you'll do the latter.

Ha! Good point. I actually would do the latter...I am a coach (+ played in college) and I watch a game studying movement and missed assignments and I watch that stretch noticing the turnovers, not the fun the guys are having with a great win.
Rather than enjoying the win, or reveling that "the game was over," I tend to think about the depth, the dropoff with the 9th-12th guys.

He was on the bench for most of the 14-0 run in the first half. This couldn't have been more of a team effort.

This has to be a historic record breaking run versus a top 10 ranked team and top 10 ranked Kenpom defense. That was the most perfectly executed basketball game I’ve ever seen.
