I hate to be that guy, but let's look at this logically.

  • yes.  great win.  was a great day, and now I have a smile on my face when i think of it.
  • No, we don't own them yet.  It was one game, and in a lot of people's eyes, it was guaranteed to happen one day.
  • Comparing Ryan Day to John Cooper is premature.  Harbaugh is closest to Cooper, since he has a similar record.

Act like we have been there.

Shoot, JH's winning percentage against OSU (.167, 1-5) is still lower than Cooper's winning percentage against U-M (.192, 2-10-1, and that's not counting the ASU Rose Bowl).

Nice win for U-M last year, but "Day = Cooper" is kind of premature to say the least.

The crowd that day was different. Something snapped. It was as if we all collectively decided we had enough.

Michigan = Raphie

OSU = Scut Farkus

I don't understand the post title.

Surely it can't be a reference to the football game played on November, 27 2021, where we beat OSU by a score of 42-27, and Hassan HASKINS scored 5 TDs, the last being a walk-in gimme to put the score at 42-27?

Other facts about 42-27 (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to find these games):

  • Tom Brady is 0-1 all-time as a starting QB in pro/college games that ended with a score of 42-27.
  • Tom Brady, however, was 1-0 all-time as a starting QB in games at Michigan that ended with the teams combining to score 69 points.
  • Michigan is 1-0 all-time in games besides last year's OSU game that ended with a score of 42-27.

Drinking: Sparkling Water (unsweetened). Still losing the lbs, down to 209 from 235. Labatt later on the porch.

Eating: Capri Pizza (Southfield). Round. Extra cheese and pepperoni. Fabulous.

42.

The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Which, to a Michigan fan, is also beating Ohio State in football.

So poetic, that score.
