Sucks after what we were hearing about him trending blue but it's not really a position of need with 3 already in the fold.

Reese at FB. So the whole list is Falcon, Davis, and Reese.
a) A fullback is not the same thing as a running back.
b) Reese has been told that he can start off as a linebacker.
it will catch up with us. they look at what we have and most i mean most will look the other way. a very few will say i can beat them out. i would also some will leave.
How many drinks have you had?

He looks to be a stud, and I can't blame him for making a good personal decision. I know some will comment regarding the competition, but thats all bias. He's an out of state kid, and without connections to Michigan this would have been a tough decision
He didn't commit to football powerhouse Syracuse? That's a surprise
I hope you weren't hurt from the fall.
Now that is one powerful thrust
by Nussmeier. . .
Another kids announcement spoiled by hack journalism.
Recruiting reporters = the ambulance chasers of journalism. Just scum.
Those last minute wire transfers can make a difference.
Nussmeier is the new OC at Florida, for a new staff and most recruits are quite familiar with the Alabama run game's dominance under Nussmeier as OC so there is no doubt that was sold to him.
Add to that, our staff already has 3 rb commits even if two of them end up at fb ..... that's crowded for one class alone without adding a 4th rb.
...and one LB who's willing to play FB.
That's what they get I guess. B/R reported early so they could have the "exclusive" and he picked a different school.
I HATE when we lose out on a player we liked and people say "That's OK, we didn't really need him anyway."
But in this case . . . that's OK we didn't really need him anyway.
I thought that Crystal's Balls were supposedly trending him to Michigan.
using a cursed palantir.
No, they did not.
Fool of a Took!
3 out of 23 trended him to Michigan. They were pretty far off. His top 3 were Syracuse, Florida and UNC per Tom VH.
The OP was not kidding at all when it comes to the offer sheet - comprehensive list HERE, for those interested.
Around 30% of the schools in Division I offered this kid, including Maryland, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin as well as Michigan in the Big Ten.
...look south to Columbus.
Also, OSU runs a more flexible system where McCall will probably be in the slot. Not exactly apples to oranges.
Coaches say 25 or in their words #fab25
That may be but there are only 16 seniors scheduled to graduate, and we're at (or actually beyond) the 85-scholarship limit. So 9 more people need to leave before we hit that 25 number.
I'm not saying it won't happen, but it hasn't happened yet.
but we don't exactly want to start using OSU as our barometer...
Yeah, it's not like they win National Championships or anything like that.
Oh, wait . . .
Thats perfectly fair, but as a wise man - or someone's dad anyway - once said, if you play the other man's game you'll always lose.
Regardless, it was the propensity to oversign and dismiss that I was referring to, and I stick by it.
Beating somebody at their own game is fun.
Yeah? Well somebodies dad can beat up somebodies dad!
