Hello recruits. We are the number three team in the nation. We made the College Football Playoff last season. We are fifth in number of players drafted to the NFL in our current coach’s tenure. We have a top offensive line including number one in the nation in line yards per carry on passing downs.

I've heard the theory a lot that all of the coaching changes and Harbaugh flirting with the NFL killed momentum for this class, and that makes sense.  But I also wonder if because we aren't as aggressive with NIL upfront (supposedly) we'll have up-and-down recruiting classes because guys will either want upfront NIL (and won't care if they sit the bench) or a good shot at playing time.  And with the stellar 2022 class we're just due for a down year.

What if some of our commitments are simply underrated?  Harbaugh's staff has unearthed quite a few diamonds in the rough.

My thinking is that if we offer a sleeper early on in the process, he has a solid chance of panning out.  That suggests he's a high priority for the staff.

On3 has him as the #129 ranked player in the country. Let’s hope their assessment is more accurate than the other 3.

At this point I think ESPN should probably be taken out of aggregate and consensus rankings for football. They seem like they have given up trying to compete in the CFB recruiting world and just throw rankings and numbers up at near random with little to no scouting or viewing of said prospects.

Responding to some of the NIL people in here...it seems like a sure thing, giving bags of cash to unproven 17-year-olds, just ask Texas A&M.  Or look at the star QB at Texas.  The Longhorns must be undefeated for sure.

after following recruiting so long, I know OL is a tough one to project...

spend some time in the weight room and see where he is in a couple of years.

With Moore in charge of the OL, this is one area that doesn't concern me too much
