2017 GA OG Netori Johnson decommits from Alabama

Per Steve Lorenz's Twitter. Major target of this staff that reportedly has high interest. He is part of the Cedar Grove (GA) team that Harbaugh carpet-bombed with offers on a visit. Former teammate of Elysee Mbem-Bosse.

For some reason, I remember a time when there was a list that was published which listed the signees and for the most part you had only heard of the truly big names beforehand and then recruiting seemed to go right back into this background of things that were just part of college football. Now, it seems like the passing and beginning of fiscal years, where 2016 just ended and we are now all on about 2017 and what that might bring, although in this case thanks to how it is covered and how often it is covered.

He totally saw how much more fun he would have attending and playing football for Michigan!

Even if that's not the reason for the decommit, you have to believe that Harbaugh's focus on creating a fun environment for the players is great for recruiting.  Contrast that with Mr. "being very serious is very important for us and who we recruit" Urban Meyer, who's only focus is providing an environment that allows players to benefit his career.

The environment Harbaugh's creating seems like a great way to counter the bag men.  It gives kids the option of choosing between (1) taking some cash in exchange for getting used to play football and (2) getting a great experience in exchange for working hard to improve at football.
