it's about spirit.

Giving it our all against OSU & knowing the deck was stacked against us -- and the mistakes -- just took it out of us.

This feels like an afterthought, and that's how we're playing.

Quality-wise, we are the #2 or #3 team in the country.

We're just not feelin' it.

Got to find a way to get back in touch with that.

So, there's 4 teams better than us.  I think UM vs. Washington would be an interesting matchup.  I think we're probably more in the 5-8 range.  FSU is #3 based on what I saw last night. The two Oklahoma schools are interesting.  I'd say

 

1. Bama

2. Clemson

3. FSU

4. Washington

5. OSU

6. UM or Okla

8-20 A whole slew of similar teams

I know the OL is the main culprit, but Mr. Yost's point is well taken. Speight does not have a lot of cool in the pocket. He moves around okay, but just looks lost at times. Don't know if he's more injured than he's letting on, but he's not the guy on whose shoulders you want to put the game.

WTF is wrong with so many of you on here and why are you talking so much shit? We all begged Harbaugh to come here and now bcuz we our missing our best player and Speight has missed 2 TD passes we equal shit? A lot of people that are posting all of this bs our guys with quite a few points and have been here for years. Have some damn dignity a bunch of fake ass fans anyway! I know it sucks when we lose but bad mouthing our team and just acting like pure assholes wont solve anything! Thank God that you get a blog to run your mouth on bcuz 99% of you would neve say any of this shit to Harbaugh or anybody else in person. Man up or get the fuck outta here.

guys feel that recent history comes into play in these types of games, even with college kids and turnover? 

I'm sitting here thinking that FSU was coming off a national title, a blowout loss in the playoffs (to end a long winning streak, right?), and then a "We don't really want to be here, who cares?" beat down by Houston.  If Jimbo Fisher is worth a lick, he HAD to have these amped up and ready for this game.  

Not saying at all that Harbaugh is not a motivator or anything like that, but perhaps that played into the start of the game going the way it did???

If you are not in the CFP, teams should be allowed to play true frosh and not have their red shirts burned. That seems reasonable/logical and actually helping players

...he never seemed to make the turn with his accuracy that Rudock made.  And he missed a couple TDs in the first half.  I'm not saying we need to turn to Peters next season, but we need more accuracy on these throws next season.  We beat Iowa if he's more accurate on a couple deep throws that he just missed.
