2015 WR Deontay Burnett offered by Michigan

It has been mentioned in the other thread, yet I thought this deserved its own. 3-star wideout deontay burnett out of serra california was offered by michigan. He is currently committed to Wash. State and it would seem like we would have a good chance to flip him to michigan. He is taking an OV this weekend at the same time Van Jefferson will be on campus.

It's a play on the song "no new friends" by drake. Basically drake expressed loyalty to his friends from before he was rich and famous, and manning is trying to suggest Burnett do the same

Kinda OT, but where are people thinking Snoop's son might end up at? I saw where 247 has his crystal ball for USC or UCLA, but I was just wondering. I remember seeing him posting a photo of his son and himself in Michigan jerseys, but never heard anything else. Thanks!

A Michigan fan actually made that photo and sent it to Snoop. he posted it on his Instagram account I believe and said he hopes his son picks USC but ultimately it was his decision.

But....if you have been watching ESPNU, you will see the show, Snoop&Son. Cordell makes reference that LA is his dad's town. He wants to be his own guy, get out of his shadow. Everybody is right, he probably goes to USC or UCLA. But if he ends up in Ann Arbor, all bets are off the table for me. That's just me....

even more so then Marshall, IMO. Yet, Snoop showed some respect to UM for the gesture. Imagine if we get rolling again! We've stunk for almost a decade in the modern info age & the Michigan Football name still carries weight. Imagine if we get rolling.........fans born after 97 (maybe earlier) will be able to fully know what even us 80s babies got to see/feel. The feeling that there was no team in the country that we bow to before the opening kick-off. The feeling of just knowing you'd beat osu, msu, nd....let alone the rest of the B10. Now, that didn't always happen but when it didn't it was truly shocking! Like......ruined your week & stuff lol. Not like now where we're pondering if Northwestern has enough to finally get by us this year or if Minnesota will hopefully implode so we keep the jug or most literally chalking up msu/osu as a loss the Sunday before. If we turn this around the brand sells itself but then you toss in JimMFHarbaugh & you've got a recruiting juggernaut. You coach them up & Minny isn't even on the same planet again, then comes msu.......then comes osu being a real rivalry again. Seeing a celebrity show a bowl-less team love for offering his Son because of who they are says a lot. We get moving and kids come. When kids come under this regime? You younger fans will see MICHIGAN FOOTBALL for the first time in your lives at an age you can remember & enjoy it.
