Ah - Wisconsin. My cousin Ryan left that game at halftime, said he felt sick all afternoon after what transpired. Me, I had the best afternoon in quite some time.

My friend showed up at half time of the Wisco game. He made fun of everyone he walked by that were walking home. Unknown fact: The real reason we won was the big tip that he left bongo man that day.

I was doing my college visit to UMich on that weekend, I believe the game was September 26th. My friend had gotten one of his friend's tickets because they couldn't go so I was able to go to the game and sit in the student section. The first half was literally one of the more painful things I've ever had to sit through in my life. I even remember joking after Threet threw the touchdown to Koger, I said, "Comeback time." Of course being jovial because our offense had 19 total yards in the first half and negative passing yards I believe. But as we kept on coming back, and after the interception return for the touchdown, the energy of the crowd and everything else was unforgettable. And the sight of the whole team in front of the student section is now seared into my memory. I remember walking down the street with all of the attendees, and everyone was chanting, "It's great, to be, a Michigan Wolverine." And I'm now proud to say that I can say that and mean it. Go Blue.

run. And hide. Because what will happen next will be unspeakable horror. Having said that, I have so much credit for the kid. He came to Michigan to pretty much get coached on how to be a coach (following his dad's footsteps). Then he was thrown into the fire unsuspectingly and never complained/quit. He played hard all the time and you could see in watching those Minnesota highlights that he became somewhat of a leader. I guess I just feel bad for kid sometimes. Having said that, I sometimes have nightmares about being wide open in the end zone and Sheridan wobbling one into the downs-marker.

We really had a schizophrenic defense last season. There were times (Minnesota, second half of Utah, most of Wisconsin) where it looked like a top-notch unit. But then we also allowed teams like Purdue and Illinois to shred us.

Anybody else really hate the jumping chest bump thing? I'm so glad I don't have to watch Morgan Trent doing that ever again. I just hope the young guys thought he looked as dumb as he really did, and won't follow his example. For anyone that doesn't know what I'm talking about, skip to 5:55 of the Minnesota highlight on this page. I hate it. I'd rather see a celebration like Harrison in the play before the Trent INT.
