I'm not sure. You've got USC with 3 top CB commits, several high 4* and other 5* corners on the roster, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Oklahomas top CB, Gentry Williams(who had crystal balls to USC back in June) make the switch. We just have Will Johnson as the top corner commit, with others who are ranked lower. Domani easily outmatches Pollard, and most likely majority of our current corners. He would play as a Freshman in important minutes, and at USC most likely would sit.

Lots of opportunity for our staff to get after it with all the coaching changes at major programs this season. I know the B1G championship practices start now, but I hope they will find a moment to be able to drop a line in on some of this newly dispossessed talent.

Nahhhhh that's not fair at all.  Lincoln gave that program years of mostly spectacular college football.  Lane bolted after one rough year in Tennessee.

Lincoln ran what might be considered the best offense in the country over the course of his career both as an OC and HC.  What always held his teams back was the defense.  I think he reached his ceiling in Norman, what with having to compete with all the Texas schools for recruits and a bit of the SEC as well.  He left for the program with more star power and a recruiting hotbed where his biggest competition will be Oregon.  Kids in Cali have been flocking to USC for years even without a strong team on the field.  It won't take him long to get that place back to relevancy.

Now all he needs is a strong DC and he's golden.  Maybe give Don Brown a ring? lol

It's a heck of a lot easier to pay players in the Pac12 when you are USC  considering there isn't much competition in illegal payments. The two UC schools can't do it and the other schools, other than Oregon, don't have the resources to hand out those bags of cash. If Lincoln plays it right, he'll have SC back to the level that Pete Carroll had the team when at its peak. USC is going to kill it.

Uhhh, no one likely. Not sure why that is really a thought to be honest. UM has three commits from CA in the class, Denegal (not going to be picked by Riley), Henry and Graham. I guess maybe he would look at one of the two defensive players to keep them close to home, but I dont think either was connected to Riley much anyway.

Really the only affect it should have with UM is if it maybe gives Domani Jackson some pause to reconsider USC having Lincoln on board

get the sense that Riley wasn't even consulted on the move to the SEC...no info, just my guess.

USC is a much better pathway to the CFB than trying to have Oklahoma competitive in the SEC.

Getting more TV revenue doesn't necessarily make that much of a difference, especially if your odds to make the CFB is reduced by joining the SEC (under the current system at least)
