TomVH: Big House BBQ Visitors
This will be the home of the BBQ visitor list. The event takes place on July 31st and looks like it's invite only. I'm still working on confirming visitors so I should have more names added as I get them. Be sure to continue to check back frequently.

Did Dymonte say why? I get the vibe that Alden Hill isn't coming because him and M are parting ways, but I'm assuming that's not the reason for Dymonte. Right?
RIGHT?!?
Any idea on where Hill might be leaning?
I didn't ask him this time but I know it was Illinois and Boston College. I know Tennessee just offered, so that might change things.
Saw an interview today about him and Tennessee sounds like they have a good shot. He liked UConn as well.
EDIT: Just committed to Tennessee.
thanks
If we were to get Dunn, Stanford, and Washington, then we would have all the best players in ohio besides Pittman and Odenigbo.(Mcmullen)
Tom, I've heard from other sites that Washington and Stanford are still expected to come. Do you have any word from them? I know your interview with their coach said they probably wouldn't be taking any more visits, but I thought I'd ask.
Dwayne Stanford said no today via text. If that changes I'll let you know.
TomVH, with no appearant visit coming does that mean we stand no chance of getting either of the Taft Duo.? Perhaps a visit from them during or after the FB season????
Chris Wormley told me via text that he'll be there.
Boom Shaka-laka.
That guy needs to jump on board soon. If, for example, O'Brien, any OT, and Madaris commit before he does, he'll then be competing for 3 spots with Pipkins, Stanford, Washington, Burbridge, Dunn, some FB, maybe a QB.
If it comes down to the last spot and it's between Wormley and a second DT, Wormley and a second WR or Wormley and Washington, I think Wormley is told me wait in all three scenarios.
No, he'll be at the Notre Dame game. No need for him to come out for the BBQ.
Tom - Any new info on Burbridge? As far as teams/leaders? I know he may have some hurdles to jump, but is it still down to UM/MSU? I haven't heard of him getting any other offers or taking any unofficials. Just hoping he can get things straight and end up at UM.
These things are usually for local guys only, just to come up for one day and hang out. That's why Sparty doesn't do a BBQ - they recruit nationally so none of their recruits would be able to come.
That, and Spartan Stadium is ugly as all hell.
LMFAO Nationally...... As if
I love the fact that recently the Spartans are extolling the fact that they are really hitting Florida hard. Seems they forgot the last few years when they ridiculed us for doing the same...douches.
Text from Kyle Kalis said he's now going up with his head coach because his coach wants to talk defense with Mattison.
Sweet! Making connections in Ohio. I love it.
Everyone wants to jump on the Mattison Defense Friend Train!
After I typed that out I just pictured Mattison's face on say like "Thomas the Train"
I dont have photoshop skillz but would love to see 'the little defense that could'
Do they produce a good amount of high level talent? And do they typically commit to Ohio?
It was also the high school Latwan Anderson went to until his senior year. St. Ed's is a big time talent pool, St. Eds and St. Ignatius are the top private schools in the Cleveland area for D1 talent. Two of the top schools in Ohio for sure.
Alden Hill committed to Tennessee via twitter of Allen Trieu
Meh?
As someone else already mentioned it would be a really nice for Wormley to pull the trigger and get it done.
Top 3 guys most likely to commit . . . . (If all on the list show up)
1. Chris Wormley
2. Jordan Diamond
3. Wyatt Shallman . . . .yup you heard it here first! HAAAA
BKFinest it!
I would say Pipkins is a possibility as well.
Diamond has said he wants to use his officials, and with the other OL targets taking their time as well for the final spot(s?), there's no rush for him. I'd say a commitment from Pipkins or O'Brien is more likely than Diamond.
Shallman would be nice, too. Great start to 2013
Tom, is Jarrod Wilson going?
Tom, does you comment, "Might be in for the BBQ or shortly after," mean that he might be in sometime over the weekend and he's not sure if it will be in time for the BBQ or not, or that he will be in for sure but it might not be until after the BBQ. Thanks!
What do we know about Jonny Reschke (offers, interest, etc.)? I don't recognize that name and a quick Google search didn't tell me much.
From what I've read, he's one of the better prospects in-state. MSU thinks they have the inside track.
And this is exactly why I often laugh in the general direction of MSU.
Sparty really likes their chances, BUT he's really close friends with Shane. So we got that goin for us, which is nice
Devin Funchess sent me a text saying that his teammate WR Aaron Burbridge will be at the BBQ.
Boom. Great news.
It's good that we are starting to get some of the top 2013 kids onto campus. I like that we are able to get a head start on next years class by filling this class up so quickly.
Pipkins and Day were confirmed as visitors by Sam Webb this morning. Looks like lots of targets are making the trip!
Standifer is listed both as Attending and Not Sure.....
Commits to one, breaks bread with the other. HMMM?
