I'm GLaD He's Back
(Hit Play)
This was a triumph. I'm making a note here:
"HUGE SUCCESS!"
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Aperture Science:
We do what we must because we can.
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive.
I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you.
Now these points of data make a beautiful line
MIN/G | PTS | PPG | FG% | 3PT% | FT% | REB | PF | AST | TO | BLK | STL |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
36.1 | 1227 | 14.8 | 0.433 | 0.348 | 0.744 | 214 | 53 | 156 | 94 | 13 | 31 |
And we're out of beta we're releasing on time.
So I'm GLaD I got burned think of all the things we learned
For the people who are still alive.
(I was all like…)
Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you'll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa -
THAT WAS A JOKE. HA HA, FAT CHANCE.
Anyway, this cake is great:
It's so delicious and moist.
(But now I'm all like…)
Look at me still talking when there's science to do.
When I look out there it makes me GLaD I'm not you.
I've experiments to run there is research to be done
On the people who are still alive
And believe me I am still alive.
I'm doing science and I'm still alive.
P.S. I feel FANTASTIC and I'm still alive.
P.P.S. While you're dying I'll be still alive.
Final thought: And when you're dead I will be still alive.
Still alive.
Well done, ol' chap. Well done.
Strange songs, pictures fit well, not sure about infering that Novak & Stu are not "still alive"
But dead as far as directly scoring any more points for MBB.
Love it. However, the only thing I might change is adding a picture of TomVH where they mention cake, that dude loves his cake.

I always watch NCAA basketball via youtube and I am impressed with Burke. Well I made one of the video of the game famous when I buy youtube views as part of social media campaigns. It should also include on how to get vimeo views online.
Makes me want to play the game again.
I need an under-30-to-over-40 dictionary, I think. What dis mean?
It's the song they play during the credits after beating the game Portal, which was a game that came with like every PC around the same time Vista came out. The words are that of the final boss thanking you for beating her/it.
I'm 41 and had no idea whatsoever what this was about.

My 60-year-old father played (and loved) Portal. I ruined Thanksgiving by introducing him to it.

I'm 23 and am not much of a computer gamer, so I think this game flew under my radar. Is it one I should play?
Also, can I play it on a mac?

Definitely worth a playthrough. Both games are kind of short, at least for the main campaign, so see if you can snag it when it is on sale on steam (Portal 1 might be cheap enough already though). I believe they are both on Mac, or at least Portal 1 should be by this point.
The Portal series is like the computer game equivalent of graphic novels for people like me who don't always have the time or dedication to read through a full-length book - they are short, captivating, and feature wonderful stories & artwork. And, to be honest, playing Portal is a unique experience from pretty much any other game I've ever played. It makes you kinda scratch your head & marvel at what's actually possible in the gaming medium.
10/10, would recommend.
Its on 360 as well. In the HL Orange box collection that came out a few yrs ago. Same with Portal 2, but that was sold as a stand alone.
I LOVE thinking of the Miami Heat as Black Mesa. Well done sir, well done indeed.

I want to add my full endorsement of these games (Portal & Portal 2) to anyone who hasn't played them. Brilliant concept, challenging puzzles, good writing/sense of humor, and no (real) violence. I loved playing them and felt some true satisfaction in completing many of the tougher rooms. IMHO, 2 of the best games in recent memory.
There’s a new documentary coming out about the life and profession of Drew Struzan - easily one of the greatest movie poster artist of all time, and perhaps the single greatest movie poster artist of the last several decades. وظائف
Hope this gets a full release either in cinemas or home release so I can watch the whole film as I love Drew Struzans works, the man is a master of his craft and created and some of cinemas most iconic and beautiful posters. drop cards
