For a while my stereotypical Ohio fan has been more Redneck Rocker-like. But the teeth, the monobrow, "Urbans Meyers" and staph infection were nice adds.
The Blockhams in "AMUSEMENT PARK"

It never fails... you're out and about, spending a great afternoon with your favorite people, when suddenly you run into one of... them. You take the high road, you let them have their chuckle at your expense, but it still stings.
Well, that was last year. Enjoy your run-ins with 'them' this summer, although I somehow think they won't be so eager to seek you out.
Check back with us on Thursday for more adventures of the world's first illustrated maize and blue family!
THE BLOCKHAMS™ runs (typically) every Tuesday here at MGoBlog, and at least
every Thursday on its official home page. Also, don't forget to check out Friday Roughs, a spontaneous low-end comic based on trending Michigan events, available on Twitter and Facebook every Friday.
is a nice touch
Considering Denard last season.
oh, they burn all right. they always burn.
There's always a fresh round of we had fickell, wait til Meyer is coaching, We were shitty and you still barely beat us, or wow, congagulations tell me when its 7 in a row.
I agree. Ohio fans can never let it go. Even if you try to be the bigger man and walk away, they starting jabbering even more.
You forgot the timeless "In the post war era when Woody was coach and we played at Ohio Stadium and Michigan was the underdog and it was an even year and it was raining and . . . and . . . and . . . we have a winning record against Michigan. So we're great and you suck!"
You forgot that whatever date that was, just so happened to be the year that "Everyone pretty much acknowledges as the 'Modern Era' of football", so while you won in the stone ages of football, we've kicked your ass ever since
Is this Cedar Point?
Yes, vaguely. And no. I admit I've never been but just googled to try to get a general feel for the skyline...
I went to Cedar Point a dozen times growing up and always saw a ton of Buckeye fans. From what I heard from them, they spoke almost as good as the guy in this strip...but not quite.
I read this with my 10 year old. We both started cracking up at "staph infection."
But I'd just like to say last thursday's strip was one of the best ever
It's a Benjamin
Ok, so I want to start off by saying I love these comics. Then I wanna say, I'll be the first to admit there are OSU fans out there like this that will argue you to death even though you guys won this year/hold the overall record/etc. And I know every fan base has a stereotype and there are fans that fall outside of that stereotype. You gotta admit that there are UofM fans out there that are the same way, saying, "Well look at the overall record," even in years we won. But I will respect those fans a hell of a lot more than the ones (talking OSU and/or UofM) that disappear in a year of a loss to the rival. You still gotta represent your fandom and support your team, even when they lose. Suck it up and admit you were bested on the field on that fateful November Saturday.
To the guys who wore their full UM gear the Sunday after the Horror, Toledo, and other such nightmares. But you're not wrong-- those are the days when true fandom is exhibited.
Which is probably why I like discussing with the people on here.
and the funniest thing about it to me is I took the family to Cedar Point yesterday. I didn't tell the kids we were going, just woke them up at 6am and told them to get in the car. My 14 year old son tells me when we get there "Dad, you should have told me were coming here before we left. I would have worn my OHIO SUCKS t-shirt"
