so who will the ncaa hit harder?

So my question to you all is who will get a harsher penalty? the oregon ducks for paying people for getting recruits to sign with them or the NCAA golden boy, Saint tressel. I have a sick feeling that makes me think that they won't get much more than there self imposed crap. my wish would have been scholarships gone over tressel being suspended.

Hey NCAA, I'm looking at you. heres your chance to make things right.

The NCAA is a joke of a disciplinary organization.  I would say that Oregon will get harder but I doubt either will be that bad.  I hope I am wrong.  The NCAA has gone to even greater lengths this past season to prove to me that you can do whatever you want and not be punished.  Tressel's line in the press conference where he says he was TOLD that he should have notified the legal authority at OSU makes me laugh considering he is legally obligated to do so in his contract.  On again with the "I didn't know defense".  Good thing that defense only works when the NCAA is involved and not in our everyday lives.

Honestly, I could care less about what OSU or Oregon did because when the NCAA failed to act on the Cam Newton situation, that basically showed their true colors.  All three of those teams are top-10 programs right now, and you better believe nothing will happen to cash cows like them.  Of course, once Auburn goes 8-4 or 7-5, I expect a full NCAA investigation to conclude that it is a dirty program and for them to be stripped of everything.  And when OSU stumbles to a couple of mediocre seasons, the hammer will fall on them as well.  That is the nature of the NCAA.

He sat on this because it involved key players.  If Prior goes under the NCAA's microscope before last year, there are many things that could have happened, and all of them were bad for Ohio State football.  Better to ride it out, and hope it goes away. Hallmark of a guy that has pulled other stuff in the past and it did all go away.

Anyone who concludes other wise is a huge sucker or willfully blind.

by the lack of severeity if the self imposed "punishment?"  It is a realistic possibility that Tressel informed the AD and the collective agreement was to do nothing.
