Denard Robinson an answer on Jeopardy tonight.
"Shoelace" even gets on Jeopardy. The answer was something along the lines of "Denard Robinson, a University of Michigan quarterback, is famous for not tying these."
A girl rang in right away and got it right.
*As stated below, they also dropped his 10.4 100m time*
Haha, way to go Denard.

Was she cute? Sounds like wife material.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
I am refraining from posting any opinion on this minor.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:29 PM ^
Just realized it's the teen tournament.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:34 PM ^
Maybe she's 18? That's still "teen." And they'd probably date for a few years, get in engaged, plan the wedding, and not get married until she's like 22 or so.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:37 PM ^
She's a sophomore in HS.
February 28th, 2011 at 9:26 PM ^
be perfect for Mark Sanchez
he likes high school girls too
(I know there's a picture for this, but I'm at work)
February 28th, 2011 at 7:48 PM ^
Rob the cradle much?
February 28th, 2011 at 8:00 PM ^
February 28th, 2011 at 8:27 PM ^
Just don't ask the board to post bail for you if you get into trouble. Lot of bad influences in Bloomington these days.
February 28th, 2011 at 8:55 PM ^
I am sorry to report that one of our very own and beloved bloggers, justingoblue, was caught by Chris Hansen, a fellow Wolverine, in a sting today.
It seems Justingoblue was trolling for "wife material" when he was caught trolling for a HS sophomore aged 15.
Justingoblue is a friend of mine so I will be the first to pass the MGoHat to collect bail money.
February 28th, 2011 at 9:10 PM ^
Thanks for the help MGoSoftball, nice to know a fellow blogger can be imprisoned for statutory and still have the boards support.
Maybe you can give me a tip or two on joining the inter-prison softball team?
(Totally kidding for those without a sarcasm meter, did not realize this was a teen episode as it was not mentioned in the OP.)
February 28th, 2011 at 7:08 PM ^
They also dropped his 10.4 second 100m time.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:11 PM ^
Maybe that was to confuse the contestants, because somebody that fast may not be tying together the space-time continuum.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:10 PM ^
Being able to now go DVR tonight's episode of Jeopardy.
What is - a benefit of living in the Pacific Time Zone?
February 28th, 2011 at 7:13 PM ^
Once you DVR it can you somehow post it on the site?
February 28th, 2011 at 7:29 PM ^
Not because I'm not willing, I'd be happy to, but I'm not sure I know how to post something on here that's already on youtube, let alone something that's being recorded on my tv.
You can come over and watch it with me if you want. My wife can make guacamole.
February 28th, 2011 at 8:43 PM ^
a euphemism for.... n/m.
February 28th, 2011 at 10:28 PM ^
No, I wish.
:(
February 28th, 2011 at 8:57 PM ^
I hate the offseason too man.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:12 PM ^
Who is the girl??? If she's cute we need to date.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:44 PM ^
*opinion redacted to avoid legal issues*
February 28th, 2011 at 7:49 PM ^
If your 15.
half your age plus 7 years...
...so you'd have to be like 16
And always round down.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:14 PM ^
Who is made of Dilithium?
February 28th, 2011 at 7:19 PM ^
Denard is the MAN!
February 28th, 2011 at 7:20 PM ^
Is this from the episode that's going to air in 10 minutes?
February 28th, 2011 at 7:28 PM ^
I get Jeopardy before Wheel up here, which is really weird to me.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:31 PM ^
Isn't that always the case? Everywhere I've lived Jeopardy is at 7 and Wheel of Fortune is at 730.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:34 PM ^
In SE Michigan, it's always been Wheel at 7 and Jeopardy at 7:30.
Hey - I just saw the Denard question!
February 28th, 2011 at 7:53 PM ^
Jeopardy is on at 3:30 in the afternoon and Wheel is on at 6:30pm.
February 28th, 2011 at 11:17 PM ^
3:30pm Jeopardy is bullshit. BULLSHIT, I say. I blame Oprah.
February 28th, 2011 at 11:58 PM ^
Exactly. I blame Oprah for everything. Even the 3-3-5.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:34 PM ^
It's been the opposite for as long as I can remember...
February 28th, 2011 at 9:51 PM ^
Everywhere I've ever lived (which is quite a few places) it's been Wheel before Jeopardy.
February 28th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
Huh, guess I'm the weird one. It's definitely jeopardy before wheel here, I think it was like that in Cincinnati and Grand Rapids too. I doubt I watched it in college, I was either drinking or studying. Or trying to pick up chicks at the Markley dining hall. "Can I help you with that broccoli bake? It can get a little messy."
February 28th, 2011 at 11:14 PM ^
Jeopardy has priority. RIght after the local news.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:27 PM ^
I had the TV on the in the background while occupied on the computer, not really aware that Jeopardy was on. Needed to hear an audio and decided I'd better mute the TV. Stood up to do so, approached the TV just in time to hear Denard's name.
[Personally, I think she should have answered "shoe laces," but shoe was also a correct answer. Their refs, unlike some others, try to be fair.]
Caution to some re: marriage material - This is the Teen Tournament. Those who qualify know who you are.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:29 PM ^
This is super skeezy, but if it's this girl, in the previous rounds, she had massive tracts of land.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:30 PM ^
Is that a euphamism for something I don't know?
February 28th, 2011 at 7:37 PM ^
Bah, I fart in your general direction.
Less snarky response: I believe it's a quote from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:54 PM ^
Got it. I've seen those movies, but it's not really in my wheelhouse.
February 28th, 2011 at 7:35 PM ^
You don't like her? What's wrong with her??? She's beautiful, she's rich, she's got huge...........tracts of land!
February 28th, 2011 at 7:41 PM ^
I'd rather just sing!
NO SINGING!
