The Hoke20 Move Us to #21
The current group of recruits has moved us to #21 in Rivals rankings. Need one more to maybe get us into the Top 20.

Cool.

What was the point in that?
Please remember that we were in the 40s a couple weeks ago .

.....the uncertain state of affairs just a few short weeks ago, #21 isn't a bad recovery from near catastrophe.

There's a huge difference between the 21st ranked class and the 20th ranked class.

for obvious reasons.

Because that's how old you were when you first hugged a girl?
ZING!
Just kidding.
I know you're referring to Barry Sanders.

Could've sworn Barry was 20.

Holy crap, #20 S Carolina!! 33 signed???

For some reason, I thought Steve Spurrier wouldn't be an oversigner. Apparently not.

I was going to say that's great considering we only signed 20, but then I see Florida @ 13 with 18 signed.

This class should leave us with around 3 scholarships banked for next year? Not sure but that is my guess after what I have been hearing around here the last few weeks.

If you look at the avg. star rating in both Rivals (#20) and Scout (#18).
So, considering only signing 20 keeps our overall score down, looking to average stars per recruit is a better measure of talent per recruit rather than overall class.

A quick glance places us 20th in terms of average star rating.
Edit - Sorry for the redundant post.

We are, in fact, #20 if you go by average star ranking, and #3 in the Big Ten (#4 if you want to count ND) by that measure.

for anything ! nd gave the B1G the "finger" ... it is high time we left them out of anything related to this board (except when we play them). They need to join the Big East, with their BB team. They might have a chance to finish in the top 3 in the Big East. They would fail miserably in the B1G.
Go Blue !

According to the ESPNU coverage, Michigan's class is rated as 8th best in the B1G !
That's right behind every team except Minnesota, Purdue and Indiana. Hopefully Brady posts this for this incoming class. They need a chip on their shoulder to make fools of the ESPN rankings. In fact the entire team needs to have "chip" to prove something to the entire college football world. Arghhh ... I am so ready, its time to make a statement in the B1G.
Go Blue !

ESPNU kind of lost me when they ranked this team behind such illustrious programs such as NW and Illinois.

disregard, posted on the wrong reply.

Good to see Clemson ranked so high, since it will make it that much sweeter when they go 8-5 every year. That school recruits so well for being so immensely mediocre.
