If we locked up Countess, Lyons and Showers. Put 'em together with Delonte, Dallas and G. Brown and that's a nice secondary to team up with Cullen, Avery & Terrence for the future.
I just hope that Showers coming here doesn't have to do with Crawford opening up his recruitment again. If RR can lock these kids up, plus Frost and Zettel, he'd have a great class.
Although Tom Beaver said yesterday that Harbaugh coming to Michigan is a all but a done deal, so hopefully JH can retain some kids and bring in some studs too. Going to be a very interesting and fluid next 6 weeks.

TB and DB can both F*ck Off!!! JH is an ass, and I'll never stop supporting Michigan, but I am sick of RR getting shafted by the Athletic department, media, and everything else in AA. He deserves better, and Dave Brandon's moronic idea of waiting until after the bowl is really pissing me off.

I'm hoping Countess comes. That kid is pretty good and doesn't seem to have any major deficiencies like a lot of the corners we've brought in over the past few years.

Yes. I believe Countess will be the real deal. The other two are both solid, but not as good as Countess.

To be fair, our corners have had just about every major deficiency imaginable. They've been short, slow, had "poor hips," been unable to play man, didn't understand zone, too young, position switchers, and committed armed robbery.

I agree that what each of us "hears" from Sam is our personal interpretation, but I got the strong impression that the mystery guy IS somebody with a good resume, and somebody who hadn't given recent signs that he was going to commit to us. I don't think Sam would get all worked up over a low-2-star guy whose only other offers are Bowling Green and Grand Valley. Hope I'm right...

I like any kid who commits at this point - it very likely means they're committing to UM and not to a particular coach. If they were that worried about a coach, now would now be the time to commit.

FWIW, Rivals has a new article up where Josh Helmholdt says that the rumors of Countess committing to Michigan are likely true they are just waiting for final verification.
