I could be wrong but I thought he was enrolling early and that would keep him from playing.

Ryan Mallett was an early enrollee yet played in Army AA game.

Devin Gardner was in the Under Armour game and enrolled as well.

Gardner was a litle different though. He had some paperwork issues, and wasn't even sure if he was going to get in on time. I think he actually moved in after all other new students because of the holdup.
November 30th, 2010 at 12:30 PM ^
But he did enroll. Bluemandew thought Dee couldnt enroll early if he were to play in the AA All American game.
November 30th, 2010 at 12:33 PM ^
You are incorrect. Another example (besides DG) would be Will Campbell, who played in the AA Game and enrolled at Michigan just a few days later.
November 30th, 2010 at 12:37 PM ^
Thanks for the correction guys. Like I said wasn't sure.

Announced his commitment at the AA game after he was already enrolled at Michigan, not a few days later.
November 30th, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
Lolota did the same thing as well.

The rule that MHSAA athletes cannot play their spring sports if they play in the UA of AA game due to some strange restrictions...then again maybe you werent thinking that
November 30th, 2010 at 12:53 PM ^
is pretty fucking dumb IMO.
November 30th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
is dumb in general.

I'm psyched to have Dee Hart as our featured back in the years to come. D Rob and Devin Gardner are excited about this.
November 30th, 2010 at 12:17 PM ^
Good to see. I'm excited to see him play. Any other Michigan commits/potential recruits in the game?
November 30th, 2010 at 12:37 PM ^
Kris Frost is announcing at the game. Avery Walls is also playing. Who else? Isn't Jernigan playing?

A thread worth reading!

ohio st. had a lineman play in the game. and was in school a few days later. Brewster maybe? I hope we get a couple of commits during the game. Go Blue!

(i say events because they are more than just the games) are good DVR opps. i enjoy seeing the competitions and the talks of who is going where as well as the creativity of some of the kids when they make a production out of thier committments. there are also the humble young men that i appreciate in thier committments. UA and AAA are awesome and i hope that this years events will see some love for the winged helmet! Go Blue!
