Brennen Beyer Heroics
Watch Brennan make a huge catch with 4 seconds left to send his team to Ford Field.

Cant wait to get him on campus. Could be a beast off the edge to provide some much needed pass rush.

I love this kid. He has put up great numbers on both sides of the ball. excellent athlete. He seems like an athletic freak.I really think he will have a big impact in the pass rush game in a few years.

im a cc guy.im not that high on him anymore after he threw a punch last week. frustration is one thing, but he had 3 personal fouls in the game...and he got shut down. we'll see what happens i guess

Brennen Beyer is a high character player and will be a great addition to the defense at Michigan.
Brennen had two personal foul calls on him in the CC game, both on the same drive. On one, he was called for a horse collar when he tackled the CC quarterback for a loss. Film shows that there was no horse collar though it gave CC a first down instead of a 4th and 12. Later in the same drive, a CC player shoved him after a play trying to egg him on and he got caught in a push back. This was the drive that CC scored on or they might not have scored at all.
Also, going into the game with Catholic Central Brennen had had the flu for four days so he didn't play hardly at all on offense. The flu shut him down on offense, not CC's defense.
I know emotions run high when you lose a playoff game, but it is helpful to step back and make sure you are getting it right. Brennen Beyer is a first rate person and player. Glad to have him on board.

I know of some CC players who have done much worse than throw a punch on a football field. I'm not going to get into names because I'm not willing to get sued for libel . . . but it's not like CC has some kind of moral authority.

Is Notre Dame really in the position to be running any smack about anything going on in AA?
November 20th, 2010 at 10:52 PM ^
he was just joking. Anyway yes I am jealous that he hit a 47 yarder.

the kicker also looked good. Got it to the endzone on the kickoff and made an extra point, anyway.
November 20th, 2010 at 9:36 PM ^
hows your team doing this year? I bet that kicker will solve your problems though right?
November 20th, 2010 at 11:26 PM ^
Well he doesn't replace the injured #1 QB, #1 TE, #1 RB, #2 WR, #3 WR #1 DT or #1 ILB but it is nice to have a kicker who has hit 20 straight FGs while starting the 2nd first year starter at QB

For those who do not know. Plymouth will be playing Lake Orion this Saturday. I will be there. While I certainly will root for Lake Orion, I will be very interested in watching Beyer.

What about your team last year? Or the year before? Just wondering or did injuries cost you those seasons too?

This announcer is cringe-worthy.
