I haven't felt man love like this since Charles Woodson!

The guy doing the BTN highlights is an excellent example of why I hate Sportscenter and other highlight shows. What a buffoon.

I believe he was the guy that won the ESPN "be the next "boom goes the dynamite" guy" contest, so it's no wonder he does the highlights the way he does. Then again, Dave Revsin's "NOWWWWW" at the end of his promos makes me laugh at him uproariously every single time I hear it. The only thing worse is that Friday Night Tailgate show. Holy hell, you must force yourselves to watch 5 straight minutes of that show. I've only been able to watch 3 straight minutes, which is one minute more than I could handle a Dane Cook standup...

Has anyone watched enough of this to conclude if it is, indeed, "less sophomoric" (BTN's own words) than last fall's nearly unwatchable weekly disaster?

I don't mind FNT this year. Partly because I think Tim Baltz is hilarious. I saw his live Second City show and he rocked it.

I love the "NOWWW." It cracks me up. I think Revsine is joking around when he does it - sort of an ironic take on other sportscasters. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit. Whatever, it's funny.

the NOWWW thing has to be ironic. any guy who wears white socks with docksiders as he did in the BTN preview of UM cannot seriously drop it into monster truck voice without a dash of irony.

Every time I watch the first video I think I'm watching highlights until I realize at the end it's every play.

McColgan gets a HUGE plus for the day. Touchdown catch, plus on two occasions, he was right there to give the RB a "nudge" for extra yards. Not exactly a Bush Push, but just making sure the RB falls forward.

I believe he made at least two tackles in kick coverage.

I'll give credit when it is due, and I was very much impressed with the way Tate handled the interview. It was very professional and was still 100% heartfelt. Well done Tate.

Watching Denard run the ball reminds me of Steve Breaston. At least the cut -backs and the jump cuts, except Denard has better break away speed.

and can catch better with his dilithium infused hands....

Love Tate's attitude. He's going to be vital for Michigan's success this year, and every year he's here.

DG's throwing motion resembles an old Texas QB who wore number 10?

You see why Cox hasn't played more. He runs the wrong way, and Forcier makes a nice run on a busted play.

Tate is all in. i'm convinced.
Glad to see he's turned it around and proud he wears Blue.

Anyone else notice on Toussaint's long run that he was looking up while running? My first thought was that he was looking at the monitor to see if he was going to get hawked... Genius!

The announcers had it right - Mike Shaw looked really good in that film. Then again, it could be the Denver Broncos c. 2000 type thing, where the O-line just run-blocked like crazy and Terrell Davis became a superstar, but it didn't really matter who came in because they could just run all over everybody.
That sentence was too long.
