Bobblethon
we are getting our ass kicked right now by PSU. I did my part with multiple email addresses. We can do this!
It would really help with my motivation if I could see the percentages. Would one of you be kind enough to explain how to see them?
I have no idea how others are doing it, but if you check the source code you can find it in there. Chrome helps out being able to find it as well.
It's at body -> (div) wrapper -> (div) wrapper-middle -> (div) bobblethon-wrapper -> (div) right-column -> (div) bobblehead-flash-container -> (object) bobblehead-flash -> (param) flashvars value
We're at 70 right now. PSU is at 94.
At this point I am fairly convinced someone at penn state has found a way to rig this thing. The Mgoblog community is a pretty strong force and we havent been able to come close to keeping up with them. I will keep bobbling everyday to do my part though.
To be fair, I have a stronger feeling that PSU is utilizing their "official" resources such as alumni and student newsletters better than UM. Also, I don't think the whole of the MGoBlog community is as motivated to win this as others.
That's depressing. Your post wasn't there when I clicked reply, but you beat me by two minutes. My brain is working incredibly slow today.
The PSU alumni community may be getting involved.
We dominate whenever that newsletter thing goes out that people have mentioned in past Bobblethon threads, but promptly drop the next day.
That 70 and 94 people have done it? That seems pretty damn low.
It's just the "percentage" on the bobblemeter thing. 70 means it's at 70%. No idea how those numbers translate to actual clicks, but it's definitely not 1:1.
You are limited by your VALID email id's for the number of times you can vote.
THEY DO NOT CARE IF THE EMAIL EVEN EXISTS!!!
Just use any name, email combination you can think of. You just need to clear cache in the browser everytime.
Vote, people, Vote!!
I fight the good fight but we need more then just this community.
100%?! That's it. Kal's theory about the computer lab of PSU nerds HAS TO be true

They probably just have an entire lab running a script that performs the above for them infinitely.
I wonder if they're being paid? Can we report this to the ncaa?!
Just further proof right now of why this is rigged. Every time WE hit 100%, is stayed that way for a half hour or less before it plummetted 20% and Penn State took the lead again. When Penn State hits 100%, it stays there.
