Michigan at Nebraska Open Thread
Worst loss UNL has suffered at this arena, too.
Such a bizarrely amazing stat... I wonder what the NCAA record is for that obscure category.
Now our subs are schooling the Huskers.
Back court should be legit with Matthews and Simpson.
Worst loss ever at home for Neb... not a bad way to end the season for Mich.
I wonder if Tim Miles survives this season?
You're talking about a school with zero NCAA tournament victories. Miles' bid in 2014 was their first since 1998, two full head coaches ago. In 121 seasons, they've been ranked twice in the pre-season Top 25 and twice in the post-season Top 25.
In other words, they'd be foolish not to keep a guy who is well-liked, hasn't brought any scandals into town, and -- as was just said -- seems genuine in his care and respect for his players.
If you've ever been to Lincoln, Nebraska, you'll understand how difficult it is to convince young men to spend four years of their life there, unless it happens to be home already -- and your average Nebraskan farmer is bulking up for the football team, not shooting free throws and hoping to make the basketball team.
Holy crap. I think Teske decapitated that dude trying to swat that.
We've had some really impressive wins. Looks effortless at times!!
GO BLUE!!
