MSU @ U-M Basketball Game Thread

Well here we go again, the boys take on another rival, let's see how they do tonight. Pretty much a must win, the fan apathy has been understandable, I want my BBall team to be really good, is that too much to ask for?

Jesus I don't even know what to think. Unfortunately we're 48 hours from one of the greatest collapses ever so...I guess I'm scared and not at all content. Gotta keep this up.

As is true with any team, shooting is contagious and can cover over ANYTHING. This may be a poor comparison, but just playing pick up I've been on the wrong and right end of out matched teams that shoot the lights out and win by a ton, it just happens in basketball.

We've always been one of those teams that nobody wants to play because if we shoot well we can and will beat anybody. UCLA this year was the first time I've seen us lose a game like that.

Don't know what goes on in practice but I haven't seen Beilein rotate this many players before and less offense is going through Irvin which is a damn good thing. Everyone is playing with more energy which Dakich commented on 1,000 times Would sum it up as desperation producing good results. We have seen this before (Indiana) just hope it continues

Obviously you bring more passion in a rivalry, but how do we not have 10% this energy in other games?

I haven't seen this type of energy/effort since the Elite Eight against Kentucky.  I hope this first half of Moe and X is a sign of things to come from here on out.  X looked like the better freshman between him and Winston.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Irvin is not visible.  But bottom line is, we are seeing the EFFORT today...Why not do this the rest of the year?  Can't hurt right?  Sure we won't shoot 75% again but playing hard defense?  It's a good thing right?

I'm as puzzled as everyone else.  Again, I am and will enjoy this game for what it's worth.

GO BLUE!
