This team is going to be so good. We are bringing in some big time dudes! With a few years to develop these guys; M football will be crushing it. Our coaching staff has to be pretty excited.

I agree, hopefully people don't lose their shit and act like the sky is falling if we struggle a little next year. It may be a season where we lose more games than we want to and that is bound to happen with the amount of players we are losing. However, we need to stay the course because these recruiting classes are unreal

The last 6 Champions has a 4 year average of top ten recruiting class. Just another stack up of stats that proves this stuff matters. How does that Impact us? Well..... 2014 - 20th 2015 - 37th 2016 - 6th 2017 - 4th? Half way there. Young talent is young talent. Schedule slants in our favor overall but there are still road games against PSU and Wisconsin with a neutral site against Florida...... Still feel early on 9-3 and a good bowl game is reasonable.....

Could You enlighten me on the spread talk. I know this much - Nico was told we'd be running more spread then we went and got Frey ( OL coach under rich rod and also co offensive coordinator under indianas spread attack). Was there more to the spread talk than that? I don't get to the blog everyday so I may have missed some things but I'm intrigued on the topic

If we haul in Collins (in addition to Martin), it speaks a lot to Pep's recruiting prowess to secure the recruits in such a short time. Looking forward to see what he can do in big recruiting battles going forward such as with Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

So last year, but for Nuata, we pretty much had our best case scenario class. And even at TE we recovered pretty nicely.

If we do land Collins and Solomon, this year is the same thing except our but for is Wilson and Harris, and maybe our OL haul isn't as great as we would have liked. Tthis year our sights were a lot higher.

Combine those classes with getting Harbaugh and we are one lucky fan base.

Already looking forward to '18 class.

We are very fortunate to have Harbaugh, and I feel we can truly appreciate because of what we've gone through with Hoke and RR. Some programs like OSU and Alabama don't know how lucky they are right now. OSU had UM fall right into their lap and that kind of pissed me off. It's tough to land a great coach, and I hope I never forget the bad years we went through.

We lost 3 by 4. Sam usually is close but I'm sure he can't trust that "Im committed" means anything... Unless you're a man of integrity.

It says quite a bit about the confidence these young receivers have in themselves that they're willing to join this loaded receiver class. It's a certainty that at least a couple of them will never see the playing time they're anticipating. If you're 17 or 18 years old, and have known nothing but great athletic success your entire lives, it's probably hard to imagine that things could ever be any different. At least they will always have the Michigan education, if they take advantage of the opportunity. If I were in their positions, with the benefit of having lived more of life, I'd think very long and hard about being part of such a big class of receivers. Competition is great, but competition for playing time in a team sport always comes down to a coach's opinion, which can never be controlled to a certainty. On the other hand, while some individuals will no doubt end up disappointed, the team is almost guaranteed to end up with some excellent production out of such a large and highly regarded group.

who choose to stay. With two veteran receivers leaving, the door is open for anyone to make a name for themselves and earn playing time. With the class that's coming in, I wouldn't be surprised if any of the FR WR started from day one.

It's what happens at top programs. As you said the kids think they will be the alpha eventually. It's why this stuff about "why don't they look at depth charts " is useless. Also UM is starting to go the OSU route and playing kids immediately and I'm sure some assume they are going to step in and be here 3 yrs and out anyhow. And to be fair everything is unproven in our WR corps. No Jr or Sr standout to wait behind

I have not been overly optimistic about several of the remaining targets, but I consider this to be good news. I believe in Sam's clairvoyant gasses.

Sam tweeted Nico said his most important factor in his decision is Life After Football. If thats the truth then Michigan is 1 million times better than georgia in terms of quaility of degree and connections.

If he really means that statement then hes coming to michigan. If he goes to georgia then that statement makes no sense

This class as whole is amazing. Would have been insane if Wilson, Harris, and Gay were in it. Have to think Harbaugh will put an even better class together than this one at some point. These are the good times.
