Bummer, was excited to see him. Always a wrecking ball on special teams.

I wish him the best. Young people need to decide what's best for themselves, even if that is somewhere other than UM.

He looked at Hendricks' role during Rutgers and he has decided not to play mop up ball. I can't blame him for that. A fullback under Harbaugh must be essentially a blocking, trapping tight end who lines up in the backfield and can catch clutch twice per year. It's a fairly thankless and unselfish role that does not transition well to the NFL.

You know, except for how both of UM's FB last season have been signed by NFL teams.

...and are still practicing everyweek with NFL players and coaches and getting paid to do so. And have the opportunity to sign with an active roster. After being fullbacks in Harbaugh's system.

Huh? A FB under Harbaugh gets more glory than just about anywhere else. Our current starting FB is second in the B1G in touchdowns.

Cant' blame the kid for only wanting to be an LB and not be recruited as a FB. That's some of what I read into it. Also on the link to his anouncement on Twitter it looks like he tells a classmate that he wants to be looked at as an LB and not on the DL. The DL part is new, but I can see why he's shopping around. A school has a need for him at FB and LB and he wants to only play at LB. I don't knwo much about his recruitment though.

Best of luck to the kid! From watching his film, I'm sure he will end up at a great school.

Granted, Trinity Christian is loaded with talent, but the stats are indeed a head-scratcher.
