Attending UCF @ Michigan Game. Thank you MgoBlog for the tips for visitors.
So I'm heading east shortly to attend UCF @ Michigan game this weekend.
Excited would be an understatement. In tow with me will be a 9 year old boy and 11 year old girl, to witness the first Michigan football game of their lives. I can't wait to show them everything from UM campus, Moe's, Stadium, UM marching band, local restaurants and Ann Arbor itself.
I found this article on MGOBLOG with advice from August 2015: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/finally-attending-my-first-game-big-house-need-some-info-please
Just another reason why MGOBLOG is a great place and resource for visitors, thanks to all of you. Much appreciated!

I experienced Maize and Blue Deli this weekend for the first time while dropping off my son for his freshman year and enjoying the beat-down of Hawaii. Although I have been a Zingerman's fan since I attended, I must admit (and the family concurred) that M & B Deli was equally good (at least for our chosen sandwiches), less expensive and better located. There was also less drama (read long lines) and therefore quicker ordering to eating time allocation.

Hope you went to the South U location and peeped that wall of autographs. Best deli sandwiches in Ann Arbor.

I live in Ann Arbor and haven't been there yet. We usually go to Zingerman's by default. But, I'd like to see what else is out there.

Stop spamming in every comment section. You made a dumb joke by editing a Wikipedia page, great job.

In past years, the games that I took my lids to were always noon. One of the things that my young kids like is lining up outside of the Campus Inn and watching the players leave from their morning meetings to board the team bus. There are usually a hundred or so fans lined up to cheer on the team, and the young kids all get tons of high fives from the players.
My questions:
Now that the Campus Inn has been taken over by new management (and renamed the graduate), does the team still leave from there?
If yes, what time for a 4:30 game? We are coming out for the Colorado game, and I would really like to give my younger son (5) a chance to see the players up close, since he was way too young last time we were out.

What time do they normally leave for a noon game? I'm taking my kids to their first game this year and I'm sure they would love that...

This year and for the foreseeable future it is the skinny M like Harbaugh's.

For noon games it's a good idea. Sunscreen, too.

I'll be there. Flight lands at 5p on Friday. Staying over by Briarwood Mall...good ol times for me as someone who grew up on the southside of Ann Arbor.
I can't wait to get home.

By Friday, hopefully, the weather will have cooled off some. Today was awful. Tonight, they're predicting a muggy 75 for the low!
