This year is 2016. Next year is 2017.

Dude, it's a way more complicated than that.

Obligatory downvote for combo of pedantic and wrong.

While I'm tempted to throw out some snark about how far away that game is, I'll refrain.
There's only one lot that allows RVs over by the hospital. They run shuttles to the stadium from there. No overnight parking allowed.

Game day parking near Camp Randall is atrocious, especially for RVs. Plan ahead accordingly and try to snag a UW hospital spot. Just be prepared to leave the premises after the game.
The Camp Randall game day experience is overall very good. You'll love it.

...has always been quite similar. Even most of our family trips are planned no more than two/three months out.

The UW-Madison has some huge parking lots and (keeping in mind that I haven't lived in Madison for 8+ years so this may be out of date) I am pretty sure they allow game day parking in some of them.
However, the OP should keep in mind that the lots where I suspect they will be allowed to park are a healthy hike from Camp Randall. I think they have shuttles, though.

It is fine. The Jump Around is pretty cool when the game is close. Tailgating and bar scene are pretty good too.

I was at the Nebraska vs. Wisconsin game in 2011. I live in Nebraska so I was there with a bunch of Neb fans, but was wearing Maize and Blue. Wisc fans were very nice to me, but talked a lot of smack to the Neb folks I was with. I thought going to Camp Randle was one of the top tailgating spots I've ever been. Take some time to see the town, very beautiful
