We still have to play on NYE this year though :(

(I actually don't care, personally. Not a big NYE partier, but if no one is gonna watch this is an obvious move.)

The actual change is they won't play on NYE when NYE is during the work week.  The future dates show games being played on NYE when NYE falls on a Friday (and becomes the Federal holiday for Jan 1) or Saturday.  Much better, but still not perfect.

How bout it guys?  Who wants to click on the links provided by our mystery guest with no explanation of where they go or what you'll find when you get there.  One thing's for sure, whatever you find will be quite amazing and I'm sure free of any virus or other redirect software to fuck up your computer.

Should be quite exciting for someone.  Which brave soul amoung us will be "Lewis & Clark" for a day and go exploring?

I always wondered why they didn't schedule the bowl games for the same night as the Super Bowl or the NCAA basketball championship game or election night. Or to compete with "The Bachelor."

When January 2nd is a work day I am pretty much screwed out of watching the second playoff game. Getting up at 5am after watching a game that doesn't end until almost midnight is tough on this old man. When they are NYE I know I always have the next day off and I can freely eat, drink, and be merry while I watch the games.

This is also my problem with the championship game being on a Monday night. I mean, seriously. Can't we find a way to put that game on a weekend day??

Old man musings, I guess......

There is absolutely zero reason for those games to be on NYE unless it falls on a weekend. Most people couldn't even watch the Clemson-Oklahoma game because they were still at work when it was going on. Even less for the Houston-FSU game.

Imagine how many more people could've witnessed MSU getting beaten like an unwanted stepchild had that game been on NYD.
