There are...
...days until Adam Finley watches Michigan stomp Hawaii by 40+ points.
Adam was a terrific punter for the Wolverines and played from 2000 (red shirt) to 2004. His average was 42 yards with a long of 68.

He is also very smart.

9339 !? Yesterday we were projecting 2027. Now we're into 2042?!?!
And a training method only Harbaugh could approve of.
I went to the clinic and got a shot for that.
You're reading too much into it!
I believe that is 59339 - the year 2178
Go Blue!!
He was one of my favorite players last year and I have a feeling we're going to miss this guy this season. I really hope not though, because that would mean somebody steps up to match his production.

Yup. Sione was terrific and criminally under utilized when Hoke was the boss.
I wish Sione could've come along 1-3 years later. Imagine Houma with 2 more years under Harbaugh? He'd probably be in discussion for greatest Michigan FB of all time
Sione was also one of my favorite players (duh). I was first drawn in while watching him run downfield on kickoffs and blowing up blockers in 2013 & 2014. My wife and those who sit around me at games would probably say I was a little overly happy watching him have a breakout year under Harbaugh.
I hope he wasn't trolling us for an insider laugh... I've yet to read a UFR, having just joined recently. But I'm looking forward to it because of all the hype surrounding it!
Along the right column, just above "Diaries" you'll find a "Site Search" box. Type in "Upon Further Review" and click "search." (Don't abbreviate with "UFR" because Brian always types it out in full on the title page.)
What the??? Thank you for proving me a, ahem, foolish person! I've used site search before, but never thought to look for content to unearth on these interminably slow days. Maybe because I'm supposed to be working, or something?
I would also highly recommend both the offense UFR and defense UFR from the Florida game - please let it be soon!!
days until Will Heininger watches this year's batch of D Linemen put a world of hurt on Hawaii, holding them to single digit rushing yards.

Shutouts against who?

120-0
This defense won't miss a beat, and will start the season with three straight shutouts against three very inferior opponents.

The thought of anything Wisconsin Badgers just annoys me so bad. Worse than the tree worshiping turds I think. Just a ton of deadbeats. Win the B1G, beat all the good teams in conference play and then flop in the big game. I just remember growing up and seeing good Michigan teams get beat by pretty good Wiscy teams only to see them shortly after piss it down their leg in the following weeks. Man I hope they get pounded again finally! Go Blue!
WTF? Where did this year go? It seems like 3 weeks ago I was shoveling snow. Now it feels like I'll be doing it again in 3 weeks.
Gonna have to bail on the pool and hit Lake Michigan to swim this weekend before it is too late.
Oh, and I am so pumped for this year I . . .
I seem to remember that in addition to being a good punter, Finley rescued UM's placekicking for awhile.
You seem to correctly remember. This was the 2003 Minnesota game, which was moved to Friday due to the Twins' playoff game the following Saturday. Stupid baseball. As much of a heart attack as that football game almost caused, in the end, it was damn good. My favorite play was the thrown to Breaston, who then turned around and threw it back to him. Then John proceeded to run behind the giant offensive linemen for a touchdown.
Run? Sure, we can call a 5.9 second 40 a run.
There is one Gopher who gets trucked by two separate offensive linemen.
He could have taken all 11 + minutes remaining in the third and I would call it a great run
