Report: Satellite camp ban will be reversed, possibly by Friday
From a Georgia writer on 247sports.
Hearing from multiple sources that looks like Satellite Camps will be reversed. Believe a final answer could be by Friday..

This is giong to be great to keep an eye on.
to now be PROHIBITED from hosting or attending camps.
They can sit in the corner and "think of the children".

One of the SEC's arguments was that, if they allow satellite camps, there would be hundreds. It ignores the fact that it is not the big schools like Michigan that are setting them up. In order to "invade" there has to be a host. Northern hosts should simply not invite coaches from schools that supported the ban. That way southern P5 schools do not have to violate their principles by participating.
Harbaugh wins on the field and in the offseason too.
I hope it does, and for once, I hope this means the NCAA will cease - even temporarily - attempting to out-stupid itself with each move to abandon its supposed mission through legislation.
For Greg Sankey's next act, I would think that being covered in lawn trimmings and sent to Les Miles' office would be sufficient. That might help him understand his role in the universe...or it could just be cruel.
Best part is just how silent he has been on this....let all the others do the talking and work behind the scene to get it done. Wonder if UM/JH called a few friends in the DOJ to get the ball rolling and get this into the news leading into the BOD meeting.
He did that when everyone was expecting him to vent on Twitter.
Man's a genius...and knows exactly what he is doing.
and she called in a favor.

If the ban is rejected, it is going to great to see how Sankey and Co. explain how they decided to removed their conference bans on Scamps (cause you know they will).
If they truly believe that Scamps are the devils work and anti-family/anti-America, then they shouldn't allow them in their conferences--which will weaken their case when this issue rolls around again in 2017. Cheers to hypocrisy.

I wonder if there is a park down the street from Sankey's house where we could hold a camp this summer.

Apropos of nothing but Rusty Mansell is the kind of name we need more of in intercollegiate athletics reporting. You can almost picture him running to a payphone to dictate copy so it made the evening edition.

Let's see what Federal investigators with massive subpoena authority will uncover in your stinking cesspool swamp of corruption.
And SEC, don't back down when the Feds start looking into your prostitution partying, sexual harassing, bagmen bribing, Confederate flag flying we-own-these-kids systemic conspiracy of feudalistic repression.

1) roll out the full slate of previously rumored 30(!) satellite camps and potentially give the NCAA more ammo for legislation next year or in the future
2) launch a smaller campaign similar to the 8-9 camps featured last year as business as usual.

My first thought too... I hope he hosts camps at SEC schools as close as Pioneer HS is to Michigan Stadium.

I thought what he was saying was "camps were legal and good but Harbaugh abused it by doing too many and the NCAA now wants to control it. Harbaugh screwed it up for everybody." He still got his dig in, but never said camps were bad per se.

that Dantonio was for the ban(along with Ferentz I believe) because he was concerned about his coaches quality of life, one of his assistants said that was one of the reasons he loved working for Dantonio. Harbaugh should absolutely use it on the trail to bust his balls, and let every recruit know that Dantonio was more worried about his coaches vacation time than he was about the kids opportunities for exposure to coaching and schools.

Since Freeze was so concerned about his kids, Harbaugh should host a camp wherever they go to school. And invite Hugh to participate. You knew, so he can spend time with his kids. It's all about Hugh Freeze's kids you know.
JH has played the NCAA like a fiddle and worked over the southern resistance like a boss. Even if the NCAA revises the Sat Camp rules for 2017 to limit the # that schools can conduct, JH gets to go full steam ahead with another Swarm Tour in 2016 and the media buzz around it will be unprecedented. JH has shown the CFB world ( plus HS recruits / their parents / HS coaches ) that he is in fact working for the benefit of the kids and football as an institution ... while most others are only worried about their turf and the almighty dollar. The residual goodwill that JH will receive will be vast and far reaching. Players with integrity and dedication to their craft will flock to him. Look for the next few recruiting classes to be incredible and the results on the field to continue to improve exponentially. Somebody said to imagine Stanford with speed and talent. Sign me up for that !
