Michigan couldn't contain Shaq Harrison off the bounce just as I expected but they limited James Woodard and Pat Birt which is huge. Michigan was never going to keep Shaq off the hoop because of Shaq's quickness and creativity

enjoyed what I saw. Some great shots.

Clearly not (yet) the caliber we've enjoyed in previous years, but...

Magic happens in March.

Let's see what happens Friday.

I'll say it - there's no excuse for this site going down like a cheap whore on a Friday night.  It's pathetic.  The content is generally good still, but I don't ever remember the site shitting the bed so often as it does now.  For the programming-savvy people out there, is this all due to the horrid nature of Drupal?  If so, why the hell have we not switched out of it?

Anyway, that was a frustrating game, but in March, all I care about is survive and advance, so well done, team!  We're not likely to continue to shoot the three like an intramural team, so that may bode well for us on Friday.

Donnal and Doyle have no shot next year with Wagner developing.  That's also encouraging.  Here's hoping he has a McGary-like tournament and we're all trying to find cool German phrases to shout when he's dominating.

Walton was ready for a break-out game, but some iffy fouls kept that from happening.  Overal, though, I was happy with the starting lineup's parity in scoring - 4 of 5 in double-digits is good.  Our bench was a hot mess, though (outside of Wagner, who should be starting IMHO), and we're going to need them to not play like shit against teams with more of a pulse than Tulsa or we're going to lose by 20.

Going to bed with a Michigan win and an interview for a promotion tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping for the winning to continue.

be really good. He is so quick, has good hands and can score in a variety of ways. The intriguing thing is that I think Beilein will be able to run the offense through him at times, he sees the floor well and has the quicks to get to the hoop. And as a bonus he plays with a Mitch-like enthusiasm.

but what I like about Belien teams in March is that if you don't play them every year, they can be a tough match-up. If they can find they're shooting groove, we could get a couple more games.
