What date does spring practice start?
I looked briefly and couldn't find this on here - typical male - probably right under my nose. Anyways, got invited to attend a spring practice or two with a friend of mine who's a hs head fb coach and i'm pretty excited about the opportunity to say the least. He's been running RR's offense for years and has followed him everywhere - says it's pretty intense (obviously). Trying to get the dates as he said I can pick when we go...also what is the time and date of the spring game? Any possible way to come close to filling the Big House that day? Thanks for any help.

I wonder if that page is updated for this year, because all of those spring games would fall on a Thursday and they are almost always on Saturdays.

North Texas starts spring practice in just over two weeks and holds their spring game on March 9th. Most schools haven't even begun spring practices at that point.
I wonder how many people show up for a North Texas Mean Green spring game anyway? 12? 23? 57(!)?

are any of the spring practices, not including the spring game, open to the public?

Just the final one.
The OP WILL sneak in a Red One HD camera under his coat and tape the whole thing for us.
Oh Yes.

what determines the length of time that spring practice lasts? Because based on the rivals link given above, some schools have near 5 weeks of spring ball, while others don't last a month even

Best info I could find:
Schools are permitted to practice 15 times. Those practices must take place during a span of 29 consecutive days, not including the time a school is on spring break.

That explains why some have 5 weeks. I think that's a good strategy: have a couple weeks of practice, give them the week "off," during which they can work out independently and absorb what they learned, and then come back for a couple more weeks of practice.

Any one of a good hotel to stay at in Ann Arbor? I am a little far from it and would stay over night for the spring game.

This hotel is right on campus - but will set you back more than most hotels. You can walk the same route to the stadium that most students would take down State Street.

to answer question(s) above, the coach taking me is a teacher at the high school i work at (yes i have two jobs, one installing turf in summer and teaching in the "off-season") he said he did in fact see some (still) cameras...i'm told this small group of coaches he lets in were the group he's been friends with for ages, and the first group of guys he called when he came to aa...said it's "all inclusive" as far as lunch with coaches and also to watch barwis lift with them after lunch...mentioned that barwis served babies to increase players protein intake as well...but if there is a acceptable way to snap pics, i will have them posted that eve...i'm pretty excited to get that close to things...
