Anyone own "Bo"?

The following year, Johnny Pont left Miami of Ohio, my alma mater. They were looking for a new coach. I went to Woody and told him I wanted that job. I'd been in the program for ten years, and I thought I was ready.
"You can't leave," Woody said, banging his hat on the deck.
"What do you mean I can't leave?"
"You can't leave," he said, "because you're going to be the next head coach here at Ohio State."
"Woody," I said, "how much longer are you going to coach?"
"Three to five years. No longer."
I didn't believe that. I don't think he did either.
"Gee, Woody, " I said, apologetically. "I'm ready to go now. I shouldn't wait around."
It was a good thing I didn't. He stayed there another sixteen years. As I drove away from Columbus, I knew I would never work for Woody Hayes again. But I had a feeling he was not out of my life. And, man, was I right about that.

Is this what you sought? "Bo" may be out of print, but it is available in many public libraries.

This book was like my bible (no offense to those among you who are religious) - I'd keep it by my bedside and read passages each night before going to bed to make me feel better about the (Michigan football) world.
BEAT THE BUCKS! BEAT THE BUCKS!

But getting ready for Thanksgiving tonight my mom pulled out this big serving spoon made out of Silver and goes: 'Hey Bill (my dad) - Is this the spoon Bo gave us for our wedding'? and my dad's like 'That's the one!' and I'm just sitting there with my jaw slack like 'damn I miss that dude' and his awesomeness, but we still have this spoon

At least you have a Spoon. We, as Michigan fans, lost our 'Spoon this year.

I don't know if he was silver though...more bronze or silver plated maybe. Not the genuine article so don't feel too bad.
Maybe that can be our next rivalry trophy...the showdown for the serving spoon!!!

I don't think I'd be sticking that spoon in a bowl of mashed potatoes.
I'd have it framed . . . the family would have to give thanks to the spoon, and Bo, and then the meal.

HAHA - the thought went through my mind that maybe we shouldn't use it anymore...hail to the spoon!
