I dunno I just watched Howard gash us for 7 YPC and Indiana make quadrouple the rushing yards we usually give up.  Call me skeptical that we can replace Ryan Glasgow.

Our defense hasn't been the same since the MSU game and our special teams have gone from strength to liability in two short weeks.

Just get to 9 wins. I'm fully expecting another close game and being frustrated watching plays calling for Smith to sweep around the end or go off tackle and immediately get chased down.

I swear, 95% of Michigan fans are insanely arrogant. Last week all I saw on this blog was how awful IU was. I predicted a narrow, high scoring win 45-31 and was trashed on here by all the keyboard coaches. In case you haven't noticed the trend yet, let me break it down for you.

Oregon st (injured QB / bad team) - easy win
UNLV (injured QB / bad team) - easy win
BYU (injured QB / inexperienced backup) - easy win
Maryland (bad QB / bad team)- easy win
NW (inexperienced freshman QB) - easy win
Rutgers (bad QB / bad team) - easy win

Utah (good QB) - loss
MSU (good QB) - shitty loss but gave up a ton of passing yards
Minnesota (above avg QB) - win (barely) - gave up a ton of yards
Indiana (good QB) - win (barely) - gave up a ton of yards.

In case you didn't get my point... Any team with a pulse on offense that has an above avg QB has put up a ton of yards on this defense. We could of lost all 4 games vs the better QB's listed.

Penn state and osu both have good RB's, and good QB's. If anyone thinks Michigan is going to beat down either one, or hold either one to a small amount of points they obviously have not watched the film. Average defense.

I hate when people equate us saying "We should beat Indiana by a lot" with arrogance. Indiana gives up tons of points, it just makes sense. It has nothing to do with arrogance and everything to do with our line being real shaky without Glasgow

A lot of people are freaking out about our run D in the next 2 games but today was a totally different situation.  We had a week to adjust to no Glasgow AND to adjust to a very high-paced offense.  IU was a nightmare matchup for our D this week considering those cirumstances.  I think the D-line will be more solid moving forward.

Here's where I dismiss people as credible. To write Indiana off because they are Indiana is ignorant. They had the 17th best offense in the country going into yesterday's game, they accumulate those stats while their best player was injured in at least two of their games and their quarterback was injured in a couple as well. If Jordan Howard is healthy against Ohio State, that game would have been a lot different.

Yes.  Penn State, a conventional offense, is a much better matchup for our D than Indiana.

Our O on the other hand will have its hands full.  They just faced two of the worst defenses in the nation.

It's almost a mirror-image of the Indiana game.

Seeing that my wife is dragging me to a wedding for one of her friends in the evening I was cringing at the possibility of a 3:30 game. Even though my wife supports my Michigan addiction she was not cool with me watching it on my phone while her friend gets married. The noon game allows me to watch the game, hopefully see a Maize and Blue win, partake of free food and drink and good to bed happy.
I will say, what decent human has their wedding in the fall on a Michigan football Saturday? You're asking for me to be absent!

We need every advantage we can get. Penn State should be a good matchup for us defensively. We will not be able to run the ball on them. Need Rutgers/IU Rudock to show up big again!
