Chip Kelly, we need them to make a horrible or no hire to grab some socal talent. Its a little easier with Harbaugh now but I'm sure if they hire a big name it'll have initial hype. Wouldn't hurt to grab Iman Marshall until then if he wants to leave though.

They should have just kept him but he wasn't flashy enough and was a Ole Miss retread. After they fired Tosh.0 the team seemed to play a lot better though.

Wow. I'd like to see the guy get a second chance. Addiction (& mental illness) is a real disease. Of course, he may already have blown his second chance but this stinks for him. Hope he can get sober

Dave Brandon and Brady Hoke are now available to replace the USC AD and head coach jobs. Instant gratification...it won't be until the fourth year before USC discovers it has ruined both tradition and the football team at the same time.

The problem with college football
Is everybody is trying to find the "next guy". It used to be guys developed and came up the ranks in the program they took over. Now everyone wants to "clean house" and bring in the new up and comer. He development of good coaches is suffering under the win now mindset. Heaven forbid you have a down year because of injuries or a few close losses...case in point Nebraska. May not have gone out and got and up and comer, but they have become a product of their own mental illness. Solich and Pelini get run out of town and it's gotten worse with each move. Think they'd take Bo back now?

Hope he gets the help he needs. Honestly football should be the last thing on that guy's mind. Get some help before you destroy whatever you've got left.

Wouldn't be surprised to see USC pluck some hot shot NFL coordinator, or depending on how Herman does this year, they may take a big gamble on him. Or how Kyle Whittingham does for the remainder of the year, I could see that as a possibility. USC might be a bit of a wreck right now, but it's still one of the best jobs in the country.
