$17 sandwich.
We'll let that one just speak for itself.

But it's more than just 70°; it's no daily tornado watches for 3 months, no shoveling snow, NO BUGS, impossible views, beaches, and multiple amazing $17 sandwich places - not 1 where you have to wait in line for over an hour.
It's pricey here, but it's hard to conceive of living anywhere else once you get used to it... we're almost done turning Portland into a less expensive 2nd SF. Of course it won't be less expensive for long!

Once a year, gotta do it. I'd never normally wait in line an hour for a sandwich, but it's once a year.

mama can bring home the bacon, and fry it up in a pan? (in a respectful, does she bring you great stuff from work, kind of way)
never went to zingermans despite my 4 yrs in ann arbor. don't even know where it is. must be very good, but unless i'm in a food line in a 3rd world country and my family is going to perish if i don't bring it home, i'm not waiting anywhere for an hour just to eat. time is too valuable.

That would be a fun job, although if she's working the line, I would imagine it gets pretty rocking on game days. Lots of good energy there.

Had no interest in a movie about whiny self-absorbed yuppies it when it came out, and still don't.

Er, that's more or less what you said, right Don?

I hadn't seen it since it came out. Some of the story lines are silly but the soundtrack is great.

Coffee in hand, washtenaw dairy donuts, farmers market, then home for tailgate prep.

"The Big Chill" - I saw it when I was in high school. A night of dubious firsts followed: first time I did a certain powdery substance and then my buddy got laid for the first time. Otherwise, I thought the movie sucked.
