Most intriguing games of the day?

Submitted by FA_Wolverine on
Week 4, to me, is always a big week. This is where we start seeing the best teams emerge. My games of the day:

1. Michigan/BYU- Why? Because of the obvious.

2. Utah/Oregon- I have Utah winning in my pick'em. This will look good for us if they win.

3. Miss State/Auburn- I just want to see if Auburn gonna lose again.

What are your thoughts?

Yep difficult to see if AZ has developed much on defense - played a bunch of nobodies.  Giving up 32 to UTSA  doesnt strke me as much progress but we'll see tonight.  Nice 77 spot on their version of EMU though!

Aside from our game, there are a few that have the potential for interesting results at this point, I think:

- USC / Arizona State - team rankings has a slight edge to USC, but then I look at some other numbers and it gets interesting...

- UCLA / Arizona - The Mora / Rodriguez matchup hasn't failed to entertain yet.

- Miss. St. / Auburn - does Sean White's 18-yard pass-fumble combo stack up? We shall see.

- Texas A&M / Arkansas - how many nails in the coffin this time for Bret?

- New Mexico / Wyoming - pillow fight!

- Kansas / Rutgers - will football itself open the skies and smite two teams? I hope so here.

Dear USC Fans & Alumni:

It really pisses me off to no end to listen to you guys pile on poor coach Sark because the poor guy had ONE tiny episode that was clearly influenced by medication.  When he said he just had a couple of drinks (and who amoung us hasnt had a couple of drinks in a social setting) and it just didnt mix well with his meds - well I for one believe him.

It's about time people got off their high horse on this issue.  What happened to him could happen to any of us.  Trust me - I know.

Your pal,

Mary Sue

This for us is a barometer game, if we win the game by running the football and good defense we will be in good shape for the big 10 season. Not saying we are going to beat Michigan state or Ohio state, but if we impose our will on a good team in BYU this will definitely catapult us into B1G season mode

Oregon gave up 42 points to east washington in their first game even though they won.  I believe todays game will expose oregon as a shell of last years team and make spartys signature win suspect.

heck the game against sparty exposed them far as i'm concerned, and made the result suspect then and there. The offense looked *nothing* like the oregon teams of the past (where was statue of liberty etc), they were slow and boring. The defense, well let's just say i've always thought connor cook is vastly overrated. Tough to win at autzen, but i'm going with utah
