MHSAA football- KING vs cass
When: September 26,2015 @ noon
Where: KING
There will be a lot of talent on the field when these hated rivals meet. The game will feature almost 20 kids that are D1 commits or have D1 offers, including UM commit Michael Onwenu. I still find it weird that Lavert Hill transferred from cass to its most bitter rival. If you are in the area come enjoy a great game in a rauccous environment. GO CRUSADERS!!

Don't forget 2 State Champions from last year are also going at it tonight at 7 in DLS and OLSM. DLS will likely be without Stritzinger, but should be a great game nonetheless!

I can see Cass' field from my office window and I don't see any lights. I know this game is at King but why if you live in SE Michigan would you schedule a high school game for same time as a Michigan game?
Football should be high school Friday night, college Saturday, and NFL Sunday.

I don't know why they scheduled this game on a Saturday. I'm guessing because of the rivalry and they are 2 of the top 4 teams in the state.

A lot of big-city schools don't play on Friday nights. Part of it is because of a lack of lights (they cost money), but another part of it is the fact that bad things happen at night. If you have 2,000 people hanging out in parking lots or walking out on the street at 9:30 at night, bad things can happen in those inner city settings.

If you're in the area go to the Michigan game. How are we endorsing a high school game that's played at the same time as Michigan plays BYU?

This game is the only one that the athletic department still has large blocks of tickets available for. Near kickoff time I'd imagine it will be about that easy near the stadium. From what people were saying on here, you could get Oregon State tickets for $5 a few minutes before the game outside of the Big House, and that one had more demand.

No bigger/better highschool game in the state! Should be fun!!!

I circled this game as the one high school game I wanted to go this year. Made plans with my GF to go the game tonight (she lives only a few blocks from King). Went to check the time and saw Saturday at noon. So I ask you fellow MGoBloggers - Go and DVR the game (I am pretty good about staying in the bubble), watch the game in real time, or split the baby--watch half the game at King, then come home for the second half?

Either watch the UM game live or go to KING and DVR UM.

There are lots of reasons to transfer. Hill's transfer wasn't all about football.

Hey Magnus, what do you think of the 2017 Pioneer kid Antjuan Simmons who just landed a Notre Dame offer?
