Eagles place center David Molk on IR
The Eagles placed center David Molk on injured reserve with a torn right biceps. Molk played five special teams snaps in Monday's 26-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Somewhat sad to see. Although Jason Kelce, the Eagles starting center, is completely entrenched and should receive Pro-Bowl/All-Pro attention, Molk has quietly established himself as a reliable, long-term backup. I hope this injury does not jeopardize Molk's ability to maintain a roster spot going forward. Last year, in briefly filling in for Kelce (sports hernia), Molk flashed the skills we grew to love at Michigan.

Hope he recovers quickly. Dude did a great job filling in for Kelce last year when he got injured.

That's definitely a Lloyd Carr "why would you ask a question like that?" look.
