defensively, doing a great job on third down. Played that designed QB run on third and short on OSU's last possession before the punting gaffes showed the defense was getting its feel for this offense. Early on, the Beavers were a cut, a block or a step away from breaking some big plays, possibly going to the house.

I think OSU's staff will be harping on that at half. Michigan found its bearings and got some rhythm after giving up 77 yeards on that first TD drive on 7 plays, they've limited the Beavers to 63 yards the rest of the half. The Beavers have accounted for almost 100 yards rushing but have lost 48 yards reducing that number. Collins is 8-13 passing.

Rudock is 11-15 passing, lost 10 yards rushing which has cut Michigan's first half rush totals. But Deveon is averaging almlost 6 yards per carry with 76 yards on the ground.

Wormley has been the most visibly dominant guy on the DL. Ojemudia has had his problems giving up the outside. And Bolden and Peppers have saved Michigan time and again with some great downfield tackles.

The defense has made Collins pay whenever he's run the ball. After a rocky start, the Wolverines are starting to put things together.

The inability to create havoc with a freshman QB pisses me off. Too many big plays on the perimeter, too few TOL as well as causing turnovers. Same problems that we saw last year.

That said, this is Year One. It's not going to change in one year. But it is exceedingly frustrating to watch the same type of QB burn this defense over and over again. You'd think the players would know how to defense such players considering that they practiced against similiar players for years.

2 HUGE plays  recovers the fumble DEEP in our territory then catches the pass to get the first down and in reasonable shape...GOOD JOB JB
