Michael Jordon (NTMJ) to Ohio State
The 4* OT from Plymouth, and probably best player in the state in 2016, just committed to Ohio State. He was thought to be a Michigan lean and Michael and his father had said many times that his recruitment would not be ending anytime soon. This commitment seems both fishy and soft, and I am sure Jim and Staff will continue to hound this kid. He is a very important get not only for his skill set and position, but also to help fend off the growing perception that Michigan does not prioritize players from the state of Michigan, especially kids from the SE portion of the state. Definitely a player to follow, hopefully we can get him back to the good guys.

Uhh it seems to be working pretty well at MSU ..
Getting a lot of kids out of Ohio and Michigan is not why Brady Hoke is out of a job. What he and his below par position coaches did with those kids once on campus is why he is out of a job.
Hey, what a surprise. A completely unsolicited compliment of MSU from alum96.
MSU has never won a national championship and is behind many of the programs who get 4 and 5 stars like LSU and Bama. Look at who has won the past 10 national championships. We need to get our lot. I'd take player development from them and fuse it with Saban's recruiting to build a powerhouse here and not get beat down by teams like Oregon.
LOL - you 2 on every thread. I didnt hear a point of contention. MSU has been doing it with a ton of Ohio and Michigan players - back to back top 5 finishes is pretty damn sweet when focusing on a pool of players the guy before me said cost Hoke his job.
I hate that I have to defend MSU here but yes they won some theoretical NCs when 4-5 teams won them back in the 50s or whatever it was - just like UM won some in that era. So they've never won a NC is wrong. As is downplaying everything they have done due to not winning a NC. I'd take four seasons of 11+ wins in 5 years anytime.
They are behinda bunch of teams loaded with 4-5 stars? Funny they were 13-1 and would have been in the playoff (if it had existed) just prior to the last season. That doesn't strike me as very behind. They beat a Baylor team in a bowl with a team that was not as good as their 2013 team, a Baylor team most considered a viable playoff team (them or TCU). They seem to be doing a lot better than LSU the past few years.
They got ripped to pieces by Oregon on the road? So did UM when Carr had the machine running fine. And we got ripped by Oregon at home.
Just a funny judgement standard. We have had much better recruits and your only salvage is the one outlier season we have had (97) as to why Michigan's formula "works" and MSU's doesnt.
Let's talk about being competitive in our division first before all this talk of "we can win championships"...

Texas, California, New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia seem to be frequently targeted areas.
Please come down to Texas. Urban grabbed another elite QB from the DFW area and he's been cherry picking stud players from this area the last three years.
Michigan has already offered 32 Texas players in the 2016 class.
I see Michigan's savior is really lighting up the recruiting trail. I dont know how the rest of the B1G is going to sleep knowing that the greatest coach in the history of football is reeling in all of these 3 stars and missing on the top prospects in state.
Bad time to be a Buckeye fan, imo.

As I recall Stanford didn't have the best recruiting classes in the PAC10 when Harbaugh was out there, and they seemed to do okay. Let's beat Ohio State, have Harbaugh and Urban Meyer have a "What's your deal?" moment at the 50 yard-line...the recruits will come.
Oh yeah, we need Zach Gentry or Peters to turn into Andrew Luck too.
Jim Harbaugh is 6-3 vs Pete Caroll (2-1 in college; 4-2 in the NFL)
Does it make you feel better when you lie to try to get a point across? Urban has signed 98 in his 4 recruiting classes.
I actually thank you for posting here. It inspired me to read some of your old posts frow 11W, many of which are comedy gold, such as:
One last thing I want to address. One Direction. Some of you may not understand my love for this modern day man band, but please understand that it is genuine. Are they my ‘favorite’ musical act…no, but they are definitely in my top 5 right now. I didn't expect the “Story of my Life” thread to get that much attention…I just love the song (loved, it’s grown old on me now from listening to it so much) I only changed my avi because I know it pisses people off that a grown man can love One Direction.
Seriously who cares...
"Nick Saban is the Jim Harbaugh of the south."
Does that mean Jim Harbaugh is Urban Meyer's bitch of the north.
Hey were you the guy who posted the suicide note to 11W a while back or was that someone else?
I didn't make a joke, which you would have understood if you were capable of reading. Now kindly go fuck yourself. I can only deal with one truck-driving illiterate inbred moron at a time.
This Pinky dude is seriously f$cked up and stepped way over the line. This is a sports blog. Get a grip guy.
Deflect attention when I point out your program is scum and cuts people out of your university. I mentioned that no other big ten school signed remotely close to 98 players since 2012 and you can't dispute it. You sound mad.
deserve some of the blame?
An instate player either wants to play for the team they grew up rooting for or not, why should a staff put more effort then the offer?
This staff is giving a lot of instate guys a chance to commit but if they aren't jumping at it than it's smart not to waste time on them when there are better guys interested around the country.
Of course maybe this kid knows we're getting Bredson and Davis and is grabbing a spot before they're all gone.
"Of course maybe this kid knows we're getting Bredson and Davis and is grabbing a spot before they're all gone."
Judging by the quality of Michigan's OL the past 5 years, there should be plenty available in Ann Arbor.
The same gimmick offense won the first play-off national championship with a third string quarterback. As much as I hate Meyer and OSU, they know how to scheme and play at a high level. It is time for Harbaugh (as coach of Michigan, not San Francisco or Stanford) and Michigan to demonstrate they can do the same.
Weird because Harbaugh's first draft in 2011 saw: 3 starters, 2 of which was from the midwest (Colin Kaepernick, Chris Culliver)
His 2012 draft only saw 1 contributer...no starters (LaMichael James)
2013 draft saw: 2 eventual starters, 1 of which was from the B1G footprint (Tank Caradine)
2014 draftee's include: Carlos Hyde (Ohio), Chris Borland (Ohio), Aaron Lynch (Ohio)... and 2 more in the Big Ten footprint.
But, no youre right...Harbaugh doesnt like midwest kids.
Um...
Colin Kapernick - Turlock, California
Chirs Culliver - Garner, North Carolina
LaMichael James - Texarkana, Texas
Cornellius Caradine - El Dorado, Kansas
Aaron Lynch - Cape Coral, Florida
Carlos Hyde - Naples, Florida.
You do know where the midwest is, right?
I know James isnt from the midwest, I was just trying to prove how shitty of an evaulater Harbaugh is that he only gets 1 "contributer" from a draft class
For the hometowns, I blame Wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Kaepernick
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Lynch_(American_football)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Culliver
And Tank Caradine played high school ball in Cincy. Carlos Hyde is from Cincy, but moved to Florida during his high school career.
Harbaugh took stanford from 1-11 to 12-1 in 4 years and San Francisco from bottom dweller to the super bowl in 3 years without the same players that teams like USC, Green Bay, or New England had. He's only a shitty player evaluator to bucknuts and RCMBers.
lol, no you weren't. you were trying to claim harbaugh drafted a bunch if midwest guys...how have urban's NFL draft choices faired?
Are you saying the fact that Harbaugh can take a team all the way to the super bowl even though his bad evaluation skills means he must have bad players is a good thing for OSUx?
It's ok man. LOTS of people are having a hard time dealing with that one dude splitting from your favorite band. I get it - you're unhappy.
Look, you guys can talk about my "suicide note" and anything else you find out about me....but for the love of god, please leave One Direction and Directioners out of this please.
So you're trolling our board and complaining that people aren't being nice to you? ok
I dont care if people are nice to me, but damnit, what did Harry, Liam, Louis, and Naill ever do to this board?
did they do to us?
Nothing except singing, releasing albums, looking in one direction and generally proving that teen pop is nothing more than ear poop sprinkled with crack wrapped in sprinkles and emo hair.
They havent been teen pop for at least 2 years. Try listening to their music and you will see. Stop judging everything because yur friends think it's "gay" or whatever. If you take the time to listen to their music and have an opiniom for yourself, you will love them...no doubt about it.
May I suggest a couple of tunes?

Maybe you should get a net.
The OL is full of highly ranked recruits now we'll see if Harbaugh and Drevno can shape them up, you do seem scared though. I hear they sell UM jerseys in Ohio, you should get one.
Scared of a Michigan OL....ever heard of the slobs?
Taylor Decker, Billy Price, Jacoby Boren, Pat Elflien, Chase Farris.
Substitue Chase Farris for Darryl Baldwin and that is a huge part as to why OSU won the Natty. They are all backed up by 5 stars and 4 stars...BuckeyeNation is clearly scared.
