OT- "Mini-Me" is a Michigan fan
Apparently, Verne Troyer is a big Michigan fan. While surfing TMZ.com in order to avoid studying for finals (you'll understand if you're a student), I found this video. Check out the chair:
A quick Googlestalk of Troyer confirmed that he was born in Sturgis, MI and has been a life long M fan. Gotta love the celebrity fan base!

convenience (ie., beer store) on MI 12 there. I got some convenience there once with a friend who has a family cabin on klinger lake who outed vern and his insalubrious past--an A-lister in my book based on the range and depth of his work to date.
In other MI celeb news Iggy Pop is now only 5' tall. God bless Iggy and Vern.

Unless he was on the way to a Wings game that's a poor wardrobe choice.

I can't understand why everyone isn't a big Michigan fan. I really can't.

Everyone needs their opposite...
Becuase there are X number of intelligent Michigan Fans...there must be an equal number of not so intelligent (i.e. stupid) OSU/other fans.

I was at the Chicago Comic Con this year and my friends wanted to check out the D-list celebrity area. I was wearing my Michigan hat and one of my friends was wearing a State cap. As we're walking through we see the little person from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He calls my buddy over and asks if he and I are friends, my friend responds "yes", then he asks me why I'm hanging out with a Sparty and says "Go Blue". I started busting out laughing and he starts to give my buddy more crap, it was pretty funny.
It was at that point I noticed he was wearing a Tigers hat. We chatted with him for a little bit, he was really friendly and my buddy was a good sport. When I got home, I checked out IMDB and found out his name (Martin Klebba) and found out that he is from Troy, Michigan. Just goes to prove, there are Michigan fans everywhere. Our numbers are legion.

I sat first row in the student section a few years back maybe in 1999 or so. I saw to the left of me the student section just going crazy and yelling at someone on the field. Turned out it was Verne walking to the area with the landing and stairs right in front of me. The entire time I had people bumping me and trying to get pictures with him. He would only talk to girls that were attractive and overall was only interested in the game. Michigan players on the bench would come over and shake his hand. It was a really cool experience and he was definitely all about Michigan Football.

Hey I was there, 1st row in the student section (actually like the 2nd row, since people file infront to hang over the railing). My student tickets were a lot higher up.

I saw Verne Troyer walk by on the field during the 1999 game against Notre Dame. Pretty cool.

He is probably a fan because of our small ninja slot recievers and short scatbacks (V. Smith)

When he came to that ND game in '99, they put him up on the ladder to conduct the MMB. the only problem was the top rung of the ladder where he could stand put the top of the ladder itself even with the top of his head and he couldn't wave his arms without hitting the ladder. I felt bad laughing, but it was pretty funny. He got a kick out of it, too.

I shall call it the Mini-me Marching Band.
Was it also the 99 ND game where they did the Austin Powers show?
