The Wings have a 2-1 series lead and look to go up 3-1 at The Joe tonight at 7pm after Mrazek recorded a shutout in game 3.  Let's Go Red Wings!!

Datsyuk and Zetterberg just don't look themselves tonight. Maybe they are starting their decline...

The first was kinda. Mrazek left a little room on the short side, and the puck was shot high.

The second, Mrazek had no chance, but it was bad coverage by Datsyuk and Ericsson, who were watching the guy with the puck down low to the right of goal, and they let the goal scorer split them and get free for the quick pass. Bang-bang, it was in the net.

I love Hank, and that pass earlier was sick, but he has not played well this whole series. Might be hurt, might just be getting old, but we need him to be better.

I have to take some of the blame here. I got fed up with my shitty firstrowsports stream snd turned it off at the 7 minute mark. Don't worry though, it's back on for OT

Am I the only one that finds it really hard to read about Hank and Pavel getting older?  It seems like yesterday they were the young gun superstars and future.

Horrible sinking feeling reminiscent of 1999 vs Colorado. Not the exact same progression, but...Wings had won the first two games AT Denver, then, Steve Yzerman (of course), who was just on fire, scored to put the Wings up 1-0 early in Game 3. Looked like the series was going to be an utter disaster for Colorado. Then, Lidstrom of all people accidentally catches Theo Fleury in the face with the stick blade and catches a double-minor. Claude Goddamn Lemieux quickly scores to tie the game...and I don't know if I've ever seen a series flip so starkly on one play. I can still remember Bill Clement..."How could something that was so right...go so wrong?". Colorado went on to win 5-3 and then took the next three.

Please, please don't let the Glendening injury be that moment in this series. Come on boys, bear down...

There's that bad Detroit defense we saw for large parts of the years.

I mean, it's still a tied series, but I don't think this team can win another game on the road.

Datsyuk and Helm couldn't have played much worse tonight. They were awful. And the Wings were terrible without Glendening. Clearly he and Abdelkader are the 2 most important players on this roster at this point. They actually play both ways and are physical.
