I hope she sticks around well after her son's done here. She might just be carving out a position that doesn't exist at other schools, benefits the player, benefits the parents and creates a competive advantage for the program. An earlier post on her linked to a 50-point questionaire she sent to any college that offerred her son. She seems really detail-oriented and has first-hand experience with the practical issues of both players and parents. So I don't think its just maternal care - I think she's trying to manage a lot of details that may slip through the cracks at other schools. I find what she's doing intriguing.
She might even be able to write a book about it like coach Baxter.

My boy's cousin is a walk on this year at UofM and he just got the playbook from Harbaugh! My friend is chillin with him and looking at it, they already send me lots of pictures on my phone of plays. I will have a chance to look at the whole playbook tmw! Any thing you guys want me to look for?
Also, in the first practice my boy's cousin jumped for a false start and apparently Harbaugh yelled "get him out of here, he just cost us five f*cking yards"

The fact that you just told a Blog that gets a million hits a week that he told you . . . is enough to get him in trouble. It would not be too hard to figure out who it is if the staff gets upset and really wants to know who did it.

The point isn't about what you do with the information, it's that you have the information in the first place. Your "friend" shouldn't have shared it with you regardless of how much you trust each other.
