Turley is staying here in the Bay. Someone lied and you guys and badly. Jim is a man and coach that "leaves a big wake". Could be he is great at football but horrible at managing staff and negotiating contracts

Buddy, you are so bitter that Harbaugh is now at Michigan while Stanford slowly crumbles back to being horrible under Shaw. Seriously, what Harbaugh did for your program and finally wearing off and you're pissed about it so you came to troll us here. Have fun with that. I hope you come back in a few years when your team goes back to missing bowl games regularly. My guess is you won't.

And it's not unique to the sports world. Within the past year, my company hired a guy for my group (including the signed employment agreement), he quit his old job. Within two days of his start date with my company, he announced that he had accepted a different job and would not be coming.

Webb posted on scout saying that he's hearing that Stanford folks are saying that Turley changed his mind and he'll dig into it tomorrow.

What has this world come to when Stanford and Kentucky can say no to Michigan... in football...

:(

I miss the old days.

I knew these reports tonight werent true. I actually was looking forward to watching a game or two at one of the most hallowed grounds in all of football. Anyone that loves football wants to see a game up there. Maybe things will be different and a phone call is made over to California tomorrow morning. Honestly, the reporting on this was pitiful. NO ONE had inside sources outside Michigan staff

JH found these guys and was a part of making them excellent coaches. If they decide not to come, others will be found. We have the guy that turned Stanford into an excellent program and pulled them off of the trash heap. Same with SF and USD.

It does seem a bit odd that this was being reported as a done deal when the only apparent source was hearsay from a recruit.  Something isn't adding up... either the inital reports were way premature, or these new reports are premature (or a smokescreen).

Stanford seems like the only school where their S&C coach is the most beloved coach on campus.
Gosh, I would have loved to have gotten him wearing Maize and Blue and chanting the Victors.
