Night Game Thread

Well another year without our Wolverines making a sighting in the Big 10 championship game.  Sucks but Harbaugh will fix it within 2 years.   Go Badgers go.

We also have a very interesting Baylor v KSU game and a less interesting GA Tech v FSU game.  Normally it would be correct to root against FSU but in this case to keep out the Buckeyes we don't want the GA Tech upset.  An FSU loss brings up a debate between Baylor/OSU if they both win tonight for the 4th spot; and OSU would be a conference champion so they'd surely get the nod.

If KSU & Wiscy both win + FSU loses (the most "fun" scenario) - we have quite a debate for spot #4.  It would be 2 loss Georgia Tech vs 2 loss Wiscy vs 2 loss KSU, with the 1st two being conference champions.   Whatever the case they'd be sacrificial lambs for Bama.

and this committee - at least until now - has been fact-based.

What the fuck makes anyone believe this Wisconsin team doesn't just suck one-dimensional ass?

The playoff committee is a joke. Why put a team at #3 if you are going to drop them after a 52 point win. Seriously, a team is going to drop out of the playoffs after winning by 52. 8 team playoff or bust.

If the BCS was around though, it would have been FSU and Bama and that game would have been a repeat of Bama v ND

And this is where people are gonna get pissed with 4 teams. How do you decide between Baylor, TCU, and OSU? Personally i would pick Baylor since they beat TCU and head to head should always matter most. Too bad for OSU but that Virginia Tech loss at home should keep them out. Still they had a hell of a year that I would take any day of the week.
