Absolutely. Let's give up the fairy tale that a failure to lead last year means no one should be leading this year. In 2013 it's just that way too much was delegated to the seniors. HC still needs to be the HC

I like the idea of this year's underclassmen voting NOW for captains for next year. If someone is later dismissed or leaves the team then a replacement can be chosen.

They vote after the season for the captains so that they're their for the Bowl Season practices which some coaches believe to be as important as spring practice. We didn't make a bowl,but he couldn't have planned thinking that.
