So I know he went to Iowa, but who does Stanzi root for today now that Minnesota has the flag on their helmet? Or is he only a Purdue fan today?
November 8th, 2014 at 1:09 PM ^
Iowa losing to Minnesota 14-7
November 8th, 2014 at 1:10 PM ^
21-7
Baylor catching up to OU with a TD. Now 14-10 OU
November 8th, 2014 at 2:26 PM ^
Is there anyone with a better job in the USA today than daring Kirky F. of Iowa- Lord Puntor? Dude just wheels into town with garbage team year after year and collects a fat paycheck.
Iowa has him on some tenure system where he is guranteed like 30 million dollars lifetime just for showing up year after year on the sideline. What a sweet deal if you got the connections!
November 8th, 2014 at 1:11 PM ^
Wow this IU PSU game is just bad... blocked FG on the 12... Really?
PSU has no special teams or Oline..
November 8th, 2014 at 1:11 PM ^
That set of goal to go plays was the most Big Ten thing ever. Thank you, PSU. You. Are.

that vaunted Indiana D?
November 8th, 2014 at 2:08 PM ^
I've not heard anyone around here clamoring for Franklin as a coach lately. I wonder why?
November 8th, 2014 at 1:14 PM ^
Almost a pick 6 by Baylor.
Ball @ the OU 1

November 8th, 2014 at 1:27 PM ^
I'm unsure which coaches you would be refering to. Few can be considered good at this point, but the most of the others are newish hires. Ferentz isn't going anywhere. Fitzgerald has been good for NW. I don't know anything about Maryland or Rutgers and will continue to ignore them for the foreseeable future.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:34 PM ^
Let's examine the record
Fire -
1) Hoke
2) Beckman
3) Flood
Meh - (could go either way)
1) Hazell (only in year two)
2) Ferentz (if only because Iowa's having a decent season)
3) Pelini (because who else would they hire who's not a tire fire?)
4) Wilson (because not going 0-12 at Indiana is an accomplishment)
5) Fitzgerald (track record, also because Kyle Prater's stardom will elevate NW to victory)
6) Edsell (don't suck as badly as they used to)
Give em a raise -
1) Meyer
2) Dantonio
3) Franklin
4) Kill
5) Anderson

Why would Franklin get a raise? His team is 4-4 and in a dogfight with IU at the moment.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:17 PM ^
Next three games: OSU,@NEB, and @ Wisconsin.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:33 PM ^
Those won't be easy, but I wouldn't count them out in any of them. They're pretty solid defensively and have an excellent ground game - a good formula for winning late-season games in potentially iffy weather.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:43 PM ^
Too much speed and talent for OSU. OSU wins by 3 TDs. Nebraska and Wisconsin are more doable, but again they are on the road.
Minnesota is a fundamentally sound team that takes advantages of other teams gaffes. What they can't do is generate explosion plays or prevent them against teams with speed. I don't see how Minnesota will be able to score enough points without turnovers or specials teams tds to beat any of those teams. Their lack of speed on offense(and defense) really hurts them vs better teams.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:48 PM ^
JT Barrett looked human playing on the road at PSU. He may again in Minneapolis. There is also a definite possibility of OSU suffering a letdown following MSU. We'll see.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:17 PM ^
Nice pick 6 by IU.
Might be the only points scored all game
November 8th, 2014 at 1:17 PM ^
Indiana with a pick six.
BIG TEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
November 8th, 2014 at 1:17 PM ^
Hahahahaha that was literally the only way anyoen was scoring in this game.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:17 PM ^
OMG. Indiana's defense just got a pick 6... wow.... PSU you are garbage.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:20 PM ^
is starting to pull away from Purdue
November 8th, 2014 at 1:22 PM ^
Indiana just remembered they're Indiana.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:23 PM ^
And just like that Indiana remembers who they are.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:23 PM ^
November 8th, 2014 at 1:37 PM ^
Yes, if only because the barnburner was started by a tire fire
November 8th, 2014 at 1:24 PM ^
Has IU ever fielded a good defense? My goodness they suck.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:25 PM ^
Indiana took a knee on a kickoff at the 12
......
November 8th, 2014 at 1:27 PM ^
It's really a very good thing that we're coming up on halftime down at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, mainly because there are a lot of people who will need to wash out their eyes and/or deploy some syrup of Ipecac from all the #B1G that they are witnessing right now.

November 8th, 2014 at 1:28 PM ^
God I hate the BTN. There was a flag on the field that every person in their production missed until after the ref announced it.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:29 PM ^
Iowa is winning the time of possession battle today by 30 seconds.
They are down 28-7 though.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:31 PM ^
Yea, but that TOP though...
November 8th, 2014 at 1:29 PM ^

November 8th, 2014 at 1:51 PM ^
Or how Missouri lost to Indiana.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:32 PM ^
OU doesn't have a FG Kicker.
Baylor 17-14
November 8th, 2014 at 1:32 PM ^
Unhappy campers around here - Iowa getting spanked LOL
November 8th, 2014 at 1:33 PM ^
November 8th, 2014 at 1:36 PM ^
They've worn them about a half dozen times now. They are atrocious. Naturally, nearly every IU fan I know loves them.
November 8th, 2014 at 2:18 PM ^
November 8th, 2014 at 1:35 PM ^
Holy Big Ten, Batman! PSU jumped offside to give IU a first down when IU had absolutely no intention of snapping the ball. That is the worst offside on 4th down I have ever seen.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:35 PM ^
must be making Northwestern feel real good about themselves. I hope they don't take it out on us.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:35 PM ^
Minnesota absolutely taking it to Iowa - up 35-7.
In a way Minny is lucky that Kill has the seizure issues - they may be scaring off bigger programs from snatching him up.
November 8th, 2014 at 1:37 PM ^
Phantom holding call on IU pretty much ends any chance they had of geting a field goal
November 8th, 2014 at 1:37 PM ^
Minn. QB 7 completions and 3 TD's.
OU costly roughing the punter Baylor driving
November 8th, 2014 at 1:38 PM ^
WTF - Minnesota probably going to get more points after they scored with about 32 seconds left. Hawkeye turnover again.
